Jonty, you can borrow my defibrillator when Bamford steps up to take the final penalty in the play-off final, shooting into the end where the Leeds fans are, and all you can see is twenty-five thousand pairs of hands covering twenty-five thousand pairs of eyes.

I've been to two play off finals, I can quite honestly say they are two of the most depressing experiences of my life.

Seen Leeds at Wembley 3 times, only seen us win 92 Charity Shield. Doncaster game was the absolute pits.

We were in 4th place with 5 or 6 points less than Southampton and Ipswich, and about 16 hehind Leicester, so, looking at things now we've done better than the rest!..

The 25th or so game we were miles behind Leicester and 9 games further on we were 6pts behind, we've now got 11 games to try and snatch a place in autos, but better 5 points behind with more games to make those points up than where we were 25 games in!..

It'll be just as hard for whoever takes the autos, but, we are the better team at the moment, and I think everybody around the club knows exactly what has to be done!..

The 12th man has a lot to say starting with today!.

I wouldn't categorize what Southampton have done
as 'brilliant'. They with us and Leicester were the Prem
princes coming down loaded with talent. One of the
top three squads in the Championship.

What Ipswich have done, now that's brilliant. McKenna
has been the star manager this season.

As for the final home run, for me, we have to win every
game. If not, at least avoid the losses.

If we were all loaded with talent why did we come down and likes of Everton, Burnley, Palace survive?

because most of our talent came this year. the mixture of all the wantaway loanees and the worst manager possibly sent us deservedly down. imo if we had a couple of weeks more at the beginning of the season to get our team together we'd be walking this league.
didn't burnley just go down last season?

I think if Farke had known his first 4 or 5 games who he could play might have helped, it was the farce with the loan players and him not being able to pick his best that gave us a bad start!..

If some of the want out players had stayed, Farke would have got more from them than any off the captainless crews before him got!..

2pts a game which should be well within reach given its what we have averaged all season will give us 95pts, i expect probably a couple more and if we dont go up with that then theres not much we can do.
I do expect these next 2 or 3 games to be as tough as saturday.

Following the Leicester win, I was thumping the air and saying we’d go up as Champions. Of course, that’s still possible but we’ve been hamstrung all season by our start which, along with the form of the other top 3, has meant we couldn’t afford any slip ups. We’re still in a great position for autos and think we’ll make those. Otherwise, I still also think we’d be too strong in the play-offs and would go up via that route. But who knows? There’s still twists and turns left in this season.

Let’s get to the internal break with 3 wins and then we’ll be in a better position to see how things pan out

Stoke tonight
Sheff Wednesday Friday
Milwall Sunday

Win these 3, I’m half gona call it. But until then keeping my feet on the ground

I think whoever from Leeds, Leicester or Southampton goes into play-offs doesn’t come up. The disappointment in getting to play-offs with the added pressure will be too much

Agree. I reckon Hull win the play offs if they get in.
Which they should. Good side.
