I’m going to say it, so shoot me down. Lemina is a better players than Neves. 💥
I don’t think any club will be paying big bucks for Neto while he is so injury prone. He’s only played 50 games in the last three seasons. He needs an injury free season. Just how good would he be for us if he managed that next season

It is easy to come to that conclusion watching our play but worth adding that I think we wasted Neves talents to a degree. Add him to Gones and Lemina, now that would be something.
I would sell Neto for anything over 40 mill at this stage.
We were discussing at half time, with a thin squad it would be better to sell Neto and bring in two that can play 30+ games a season.
Lemina and Gomes were outstanding today, Fraser lead the line well, Ait-Nouri superb and the defence strong. Does Dawson walk back in? Not so sure.
And the Astropay comp was won again, twice in a month after three years of failure. Terrible timing from the last today though think he only took 800 quid, other chap got 8 grand.
We have got a thin squad but we also have players that have come into the team and never let us down. Doyle and Santi Bueno certainly fall into that category and Toti did well when he came on today. In midfield and defence I don’t think we’re desperate for summer signings with Boubacar Traore and Mosquera giving us further quality in those areas.
Don’t know why there’s a need to compare our players to Neves. He was great for us, and the new team are doing well too. Just a reminder that Neves was the star man of a team that twice took us to 7th in the league. Hope our new team matches that, but they haven’t yet.

I think it was only £200
I think yesterday for me will be most memorable for the way the players adapted to whatever position they were asked to play given we had literally run out of forwards. The final 15 minutes saw a forward line of Ait Nouri on the right, Lemina in the middle and Doherty on the left. Fabulous achievement to get the result

My only reason for making a comparison was, not to put Neves down in any way, until now he was our best player for over a decade, but simply to point out how much I rate Lemina. I hoped that by saying that Mario was even better than our previous best player for years would make that point.
Listening to Conor Coady and others talking about Pep and Klopp, and comparing their teams' playing styles.
I reckon Wolves try to be more of a Pep team than a Klopp team.
I'd go as far to say that Wolves are definitely the next Man City.
Understand that wulfrun and Lemina has been excellent for us and yesterday one of his best games, maybe even the best. He’s a very different kind of player to Neves and to me the reason we look just as good in midfield and maybe better than the Nuno era is because of a combination of Lemina, Gomes and Doyle rather than a one to one comparison.
West Ham 2 down at home to Burnley at half time. If they can’t turn that round, Wolves will end the weekend just one point off 7th
disappointed. Wanted them to beat Sours. Any big six beating is best
Villa have done well but wouldn’t be unhappy to see them fade away. Their next home game against Wolves and McGinn will be suspended
Wolves 9th as things stand, two points off 7th. The two teams directly below us, Chelsea and Newcastle play each other on Monday
On the radio they're saying it would be nice to see Man City v Liverpool in the FA Cup final, but Man Utd and Newcastle might have something to say about that.
Are there any other teams left in the Cup?

Chelsea
Fabio Silva scored Rangers' second clinching goal. Mind you their opponents, Hibs, were down to 9 men by that time.
So at least one Wolves player is in a cup semi-final.
Reading today that Rangers are saying that if they qualify for next seasons champions league, one of their priorities to use the extra cash will be to try to sign Fabio permanently. Wonder how much they would offer
