Isn’t this an example of what a number of us have been saying since day 1? You cannot play this way in the PL with these players. Inverted fullbacks is complete insanity. Enzo will never go more compact because he doesn’t believe in playing that way.

It’s why Rudkin has made such a huge mistake in going for him in the first place. You hire a manager who can get you promoted by playing and developing a brand of football that gives you a chance to stay up. Cue Daniel Farke

Enzo isn’t a manager. He’s a coach. Huge difference. He’s coached a bunch of players too good for the championship to batter their way past inferior opposition. Every time we play a half decent team it mostly falls apart. Cue Leeds, Ipswich, Boro etc.

I worry for the run in more than anything. Just getting back to the premier league looks to be in jeopardy right now.
