I have to watch on TV now, so envy you. And as you say, great game.
Fair play Mellor sometimes football can be both exciting and horrible dependant on your standpoint or following but being at the game live is what some of us live for, I've been at games at Ibrox when my team Celtic have won and lost and I wouldn't give up either memories, I'd wager today was similar for you? It's why we love the sport
Was a great game and obviously as a Utd fan I am delighted with the end result.
What I will say though is Klopp truly is a miracle worker because you're nowhere near as good as City are. I have literally no idea how he keeps you relatively competitive with them. When we play City it usually feels like we are a second division team at times but it never does against you lot. Even the 7-0 was a bit of a weird one as we were evenly matched in first half and we just fell apart and had a crazy 45 mins.
Klopp has only beaten ETH once in 4 attempts now. Pep has beaten ETH 4 out of 5 and quite comfortably in three of those.
Fair play mate, and you were at an absolutely brilliant game of football. One I'm glad we won but obviously it could have easily gone the other way. Was just emotionally gripping and a seesaw or emotions from start to finish
Sounded like a good atmosphere but what I would say is there sounded to be more tragedy chanting than ever, through the tv. It needs to stop but it seems to be going in the other direction.
Must say I was surprised at how Liverpool faded in extra time. Very entertaining matches in the quarters, with the poss exception of City's easy win over the bar codes. Just goes to show the FA cup can produce some magic after all.

Your attitude vs us and city is completely different. You always look bang up for it against us and roll over for City.
If you played like you did at times yesterday you’d find some success against City too. Although you were on the ropes for pretty much the entire second half. Had he been able to actually capitalise on our dominance we’d have run out healthy winners.
That’s football unfortunately!
Saw the OP's title and first sentence and just assumed they were an MU 'fan' !

We've beaten City plenty of times in recent years. Ole beat Pep 4 times. ETH even won 1 of the 3 meetings last season.
It's not attitude. They are just by far the best team in the division it pains me to say. Klopp has had you semi competitive with them and lot of that is down to graft and incredible fitness levels really.
I just said on another thread, I was right next to the Liverpool fans and it felt almost like a final. I'd have been gutted to lose but yesterday is what football is all about.

Id agree they are the best team. Our styles are very different though. Ours is far more high risk v reward, theirs is just suffocating the life out teams.
I do think for a 2 or 3 years period we were very good at that too from 19-22. But weve lost a bit of that control now with last seasons debacle and this season theres obvs a bit of change in the team.
I would say though that if you play like that against city youll get joy. Ten haags approach at the etihad was understable but basically just waving the white flag.
Both ourselves and villa earlier in the season have shown if you have quality attacking players and are prepared to have a go at city there is joy to be had. Theres no doubts your strengths as a team are the forwards. Bit more belief from your manager in them games going forward (cup final probably) and I think ylu cause them problems.

Haha main stand side? I was right on the segregation line there. We couldve had a ja moment!
I'm horribly disappointed by the fkkkin manner of that defeat ....we had soo many chances to put united away ...and I was tearing my hair out and the amount of balls we gave away ....gakpo , nunez , quansah and Elliotts from our own corner .....
But that's footie..must have been great for the neutrals ...and everyone seemed to want united to win (i find that more random than anything )
Anyway..its a tired cliche ...ITS THE PREMIER LEAGUEI WANT FIRST AND FOREMOST...

difference between us and others?
Nunez would be hung out to dry and be savaged left and right for what he did sunday at any other club.
We will still support him as anyone can make a mistake. its what they do next that counts.
