I think it's very close between Rodon and Ampedu but I lean just towards Ampedu on the basis that he's been utilised in supposedly not his strongest position and since he has done taking over from Struiyk's forced injury lay off we have seen for ourselves the vast improvement in our defensive performance. You could even say Ampadu has been the missing link in that position and without him deployed alongside Rodon who has been exceptional we wouldn't have gone on such an amazing unbeaten run....Therefore my vote is 4 for Ampadu.
Is Rodon doing well for you guys ?
Think he is good enough for the prem ?
He has hardly had a sniff at Tottenham
Rodon has been sensational for them. Watched him in few games, very calm at the back and almost like a captain material
Great player
Been brilliant for us.
Bought into the club, attitude been great.
Got better has season gone on, never look like conceded.
Easily could play in Prem. But like all players, needs to regularly playing
Bloody impossible call. Think Ampadu will get it although that would be harsh on Summerville. I ll go Summerville because he's turned many results in our favour.

Don't get that at all. It's not as if you were solid at CB last year. Clearly not in anges plans so maybe we can get him on a permanent.

Yeah, pretty tough to call. I always think of our chaotic start and if not for Dan James we would have lost a few more games.
Summerville has been great but maybe cooled off a bit lately but his pal Willie has picked up where Cree left off.
Macca, your Ampadu vote didn't show up.
Oh yeah, young player. Think Archie probably takes it in any league. Been phenomenal.

Constantly loaned out mont…… think he was in France last season
Couldn’t be any worse than Dier
Think you guys will be signing him
After much consideration, I had to think in terms of who the side would miss the most if they were out...Rolls Royce Rodon.
Impossible really to choose. I landed on Rutter.
Mainly because it was a player none of us thought would bring much.
But he has really shown his skill, and been the architect behind loads of goals, and is the no 1 when it comes to assists in the champ.
Ampadu for me. Couldn't believe we managed to get him, and for only £7m too.
Far too good for this level and the player that will find the step up to the premier league the easiest if we achieve it.

Centre mid or centre back though 🤔
The one thing that stops Kamara from getting on the list is his lack of goals, we have a quality midfielder there, Glen score a couple, I know you can do it lad.
Has Rutter not won player of the month the most for us?..
I know he's picked it up a couple of times but not sure how many!..
The way he goes into challenges and you think he's lost it, does a quick riggle and spin and he's off again, amazing how he seems to always come out with the ball!..
We'd like more goals from him but he seems to be the one that gives the others more chances than himself so being Mr Unselfish I'll go for him!..

Close between them all. I think Rutter, Summerville and Rodon stand out that bit more.
Think it’s a toss up between Summerville and Rodon, as Rutter is a club record signing playing in the second division.
Rodon edges it for me. Defence has been immense after being horrendous lat season.
Honourable mention to Meslier as well. Had a horror finish to last season but he’s had a great recovery season.
Ampadu for me - he's made such a difference. He's the Phillips replacement we needed. Amazing he's only 23 - feels like he's been around for ages with Chelsea.
The others are all a whisker away from it though - I'd give them all an award.
I don't think Rodon will go back to Spurs. They wouldn't recognise him anyway with all the face and head injuries he's had! He's going to look like Kryten from Red Dwarf by the end of this season!
There's a strong argument for all five listed but going for a defender due to our fabulous goals against tally.
Almost impossible to separate Rodon and Ampadu and in an ideal world both should be collecting the award together, as they've been inseparable all season.
Picking Rodon as we must buy him in the transfer window
Great thread kebablegs.
I voted for Cree, top scorer, best player in the division.
If we get Rodon this summer I'll be ecstatic.
Been brilliant all season long.

His face gets redder than the dragon on the Welsh flag by the week the amount of battering it takes.
Was listening to the Bamford podcast on captains, he talked about the system set up under the Marsch with captain committee of himself, Coops, Bill, Stewie Dallas and Rodrigo, my mind drifted to how officially how Cooper is still the club captain but just what a great job Ampadu is doing.
I don't know whether, as with Cooper, it's a squad decision, but at 23, he really has shown he is made for the role, and was born to play for Leeds.
Dare I say it, but there's a bit of Billy in the boy.
