What sportswomen is moaning?
I did not mean that sportswomen are moaning as I think they are happy with the progress they are making.
It's the latest bunch of people with a bandwagon to roll on - WASPI
Isn't the point not that the retirement age shouldn't be equal, but that the way it was introduced and communicated left many women unable to plan their retirements appropriately?
I agree with that RR. But remember this plan was worked out by Civil Servants who retire at 58 with index-linked pensions and possible lump-sum.
It's in women's blood to moan. You can give them everything and more, they'll still moan, as a married man I know.
Women, retiring?????
What’s this madness?

RR
STATE PENSION AGE!!!!
Sorry but sometimes you just have to shout.
Statistically speaking women outlive men. Cause of death for most is cited as "nagging". However, I think there should be a level of equity on the age of retirement, it should be the same, currently set at 66 years of age for a state pension for both men and women, gradually to increase to 67 for those born after April 1960.
According to the ONS average life expectancy for males in the UK is 79 and 83 for females (correct at 2022).
What's the issue?! There isn't one!

They are often born earlier though.
If anything, us men should be out in the streets demanding a lower age.. 67 is pitiful. It'll hit 70 by the time most of the people on here retire.
The French would be burning buildings and bringing out the guillotine.

We probably should to be honest.
"You have to get to the top 40 per cent before you can claim to be a net contributor. Households in the fourth quintile pay £4,113 more in tax than they take out, while the top 20 per cent of earners pay a whopping £20,125 more in than they get back."
It's basically impossible to build wealth as an employee anymore, the whole system is designed so that those near the bottom take more and more from the middle and high earners at an increasing rate.
In it's current state, the tax system benefits business owners (which I don't mind, they take the risks), low-no earners and large corporations who are taking taxpayers money to profit in the name of economic growth. A large proportion of the nation get shafted.
