No!
Kevin Thomson was decent back then, but like you say injuries set him back.
<wink>
In a heartbeat.
He’s way more than good enough and will have likely improved, but more importantly it might suggest the board are prepared to spend some decent money on quality at last.
Hence why there would never be a set of circumstances as to how he’d ever be back.

Absolutely
Could buy him for £10M it would be great business
Never go back, it's a rarity for those that do to recapture the glory days.
Get KT or stick with greg taylor
Difficult choice

Yes it seldom works but sometimes there are exceptions- Mulgrew, Christie for example

🤣🤣🤣
I think we ruined KT and he’s too injury prone now. You’d hardly get half a season of games out him, and for the costs involved it’s too expensive for me.
Shame for him as some player on his day. Need him fit for Euros
In saying that, I wouldn't be overly worried about him at Celtic - Celtic play a huge amount of games a season. I think it would be very hard to manage him properly
Only the two hamstring injuries this season ..... over the last 5 seasons he misses on average almost 19 league games a season.
More than happy to see you pay the wages needed to bring him back. even if he was to take a 66% wage cut he would cost about 40k pw.
Would i fook be happy to see them re-sign Tierney.
He's had a few injuries fair enough and Arteta didn't seem to like him but he's a player.
Money will be the barrier, I would think plenty of lower Premier League teams would take that gamble because if he stays fit you've got one of the best full backs in the PL.
Not only that he brings steeliness to Celtic backline which CCV aside don't have any of it.

he hasnt ben able to stay fit since 2017.
I dont think anyone would expect him to stay fit given that he hasnt done in the last 7 seasons.
Thought the warm weather might have helped with his injuries - is that a myth? Or have I made that up

Think that’s an old wives’ tale. Like a cold step giving you piles; or feed a cold, starve a fever; or 55.

Think the KT ship has sailed TBH ... he'd be way too expensive for us (both fee and wages), and his injury woes are obviously well known. Having said that, even wearing a pair of moonboots he'd be better than Greg "The Backpost Invisible Man" Taylor, so feck knows.

I disagree. He's very visible unfortunately not doing what we'd like him to do.

His only attribute is "not being as bad as Bernabei". That's it. Aside from every other pass being to the opposition, does the cant EVER actually jump for a defensive header? Every single game other teams just ping deep crosses in from their left to our backpost, and if GT is seen at all he's inevitably 5 yards+ from his man and rooted to the ground as the next free header arrows towards Hart. It's extraordinary.
For sure but not sure KT ever left, Eye of the Telescope was a banger of an album and she is amazing live.
