And I’ll just add that there are many types of power dynamics at play, not just rich footballers etc. hence why so much domestic abuse takes place.

You could ask why does anyone decide to commit any type of sexual offence? Nothing to do with financial circumstances, I guess it's something we'll never fully understand. We only really hear about high profile cases, but who knows what goes on in the mind of such people

It's a power thing. And I think famous/powerful people it may partially be down to not being used to people saying no to them.
