Now, just a wee consolation goal for Livi and its ten points for me
How bad are Livi...I mean seriously, they're bloody awful
Be glad to see that pitch GTF from the top tier

Why would you not want the SFA to do all it can to protect the integrity of its refs from accusations of incompetence or bias?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please tell me how the SFA bringing in an independent outsider would protect the integrity of it's own refs...doing so would basically make a strong statement suggesting they can't be trusted ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s checks and balances. It’s why in other industries we have things like audits to provide greater comfort and assurance to stakeholders. Right now you have refs not trusted, the SFA knowing that, and doing nothing about it. That does nothing to engender trust. What it would do is improve trust in the decisions, which is important.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you want the SFA to pander to your average Clyde super scoreboard roaster? Cos that’s the only people who don’t ’trust’ refs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it?

The rest just think they are a bit $hite
Can go all the way back to Walter Smith not trusting a ref because his surname was Murphy, and Gerrard’s comments after his first competitive game at Aberdeen. A cursory glance at follow follow will also see a lack of trust.
Now, fvck up the lot of you.
Logistically the 3 or 4 primary match officials probably need to be local/regional, regardless of how poor they are.
However having an integrated UK or European VAR ‘service’ should be possible. The more contentious decisions could then be escalated and validated by higher quality and objective officials.
In theory that should improve the standard and consistency of VAR decisions. So at least when our clubs or national teams play in cross border competitions, we have a chance of knowing what a hand ball/pen is or isn’t?

Seems to remember we got a shed load of penalties in our run to the Europa League final, and got plenty help from VAR
Also remember when the ref strike happened about 14/15 year ago, a Luxembourg ref took charge of your game at home Vs Inverness and you drew 2-2
Doesn't matter if foreign refs were to take ovee anything, nothing would change, the same $hite would still be spouted when things didn't go your way, as that the only time it's ever spouted
When our team was nowhere near good enough to challenge for the title and the 'Tic were winning titles at a canter...not a fcking peep about refs
Happy with that. Good result and decent enough performance.

Always take that result on that surface. Still think we’re miles off it though in terms of clicking as an attacking threat … and Livi did absolutely nothing to test our back line. We’ll need to perform way better than that to take something from Ibrox.

Walter Smith is no longer with us and Gerrard is in Saudi. Quite what that has to do with current trust levels is beyond me.
If they did openly say they didn’t trust a ref or referees then that was utterly moronic to do so.
Who currently plying their trade in the game doesn’t trust refs? Who has made that clear?
Mor decent 1H but his lack of resilience is poor for this league. Finally seeing signs from Kuhn. Crossing awful. Awareness awful. Turning back to safety yawn inducing. Scales rusty. Livi fire alarms a pita. Livi hiring decisions purely on vital statistics. Frustrating.
