There is also a pretty good chance city and Arsenal play against each twice late April and a week later that will add to the drama.

Providing they make it through their ties of course.

We won yesterday, and were pretty dominant without 4 of our regular back 5 in Allisson trent robertson and konate. When you also consider the form jota was in pre injury you're talking about 5 starters there arguably.

I think for us to be top without all that is some doing. If we can get even 3 of them 5 back sooner rather than later and we get a bit of luck injury wise going forward I think we should go on to win it.

I never said any team will win it, I just didn’t keep writing them off every week like you and many others. To be fair there are plenty of Liverpool fans who have done the same with Arsenal. Would be ironic if it comes down to those 2 teams when they are both more worried about finishing above City

Opta still has us at 18.8% to win it, Liverpool has gone up to 47.7%, Man city 33.5%

What were the Opta odds of us taking 4 pts of both Liverpool and City? Historic results are a horrible deadweight on poorly written algorithms.

It’s too close to call, Bats. With nine game to go, it’s pointless cranking ourselves up in hopeful expectation.

Let’s just sit back, enjoy, support the team and manager and see where it takes us. We can’t do anything else, really, so, no need to worry, just strap in and revel in the rollercoaster ride.

City look like having the best run in but all comes down to form at this stage. They’ve been less than convincing. Will be a really interesting finish.

I think all 3 sides will drop points in at least 2 games tbf.

Rotation will be important Arteta has got to get that right. Not just to keep the main players in good condition but it will also have a large bearing on results I think before the Tottenham game we play four games in two weeks where as they have the entire two weeks off. I'd be confident going there if we both had a similar workload. If Arteta runs the likes of Saka, Rice etc into the ground that's could be a banana skin.

Big favourites for the title is Liverpool for me. I said it a few weeks before and I stand by it. They have just the "easiest" run in.

Arsenal's run in is very difficult at home and also away from home. Dont forget we have also CL games in there as well.
