Top 5 in the bag

I think you might be underestimating Lille. They're a good side. No guarantees there.

It would be bloody lovely though if the two English sides did get past the Germans before that Arsenal games hit though. If Bayern and Leverkusen go out, it's done pretty much.

Looking at the fixtures left, I really can't see Villa slipping up. They have Brentford at home this weekend whilst we have Forest, so essentially we're likely to be 2 points behind them before we start our horror run. I know they have a couple of nasty fixtures themselves but let's face it, we have more. If you add Newcastle and Chelsea away to the mix then that's five of eight we could easily lose. They only have Arsenal away, Liverpool at home and maybe, at a stretch Chelsea at home as difficult matches.

Those Spurs fans not backing the whole co-efficient thing because they're confident of us finishing fourth aren't looking closely at the games left. I'm starting to think Villa will comfortably get it now.

Agreed, also we’re not playing particularly well and defensively we’re still not right. If I am Emery though I would be prioritising the Conference as winning that will almost certainly give England the extra spot as Liverpool should also make their final and I can’t see Bayern getting beyond the semi and Dortmund should be out next round.

I don’t think we will catch Villa now and I am certain United won’t, so 5th would be good enough for Villa with a conference win.

I can’t see us losing all 5 games though, we will get at least a couple of draws in there I reckon

Christ, the Chelsea game has been rearranged. We now face Arsenal at home, then Chelsea and Liverpool away in the space of 7 days.

Yeah I’m calling it Baz - United are in collapse mode. We will lose at least 4 of our remaining, but my bet isn’t on Spurs, my bet is United can’t sort themselves out enough to catch us - so no Spursiness at play.

You are a realistic fan - I reckon you agree with my assessment

I hope we do win The Farmers League. It gives us our 1st trophy in eons and puts our Club onto the next level of The Europa. With a fully fit squad and maybe some new editions I feel we'd be good contenders. That is our level tbf despite the incredible job Unai is doing.

If your honest it's your level too and both our Clubs would do well in The Europa and shouldn't knock it. It'd be great if both teams did alot better in domestic cups too. Silverware above 2nd,3rd,4th for me.

The Spursy thing would be for Spurs to finish 5th and end up in the Europa. Can definitely see that happening. For me Liverpool are the only English team nailed on to get to a SF
