Man City about to be relegated to league 2 at this rate
It’s a joke to be honest, 2 points for a second offence - they will stay up and stink the league out again next year with more Dyche ball
Gonna do my best parrot impression.
How many points does that mean Chelsea and City should be deducted?

TBF, if your finances are bad then its not always an instant fix. To be compliant you need to raise revenues and sell players and neither can necessarily be achieved over night. They sold Gordon for 45m.
I suppose so long as they are heading in the right direction, then the fine will be lesser than the first offence.

For City, i think that while if found guilty they would get a big points fine, the bigger punishment will be for the attempts to cover it up.
Its one thing to breach the spending rules and be done for it. It is another level to breach the rules, but cover it up to try and state you havent breached the rules.
Same for Chelsea really, although the punishment will be lessened as the new owners "handed themselves in"

They're doing all they can to keep them up. They even waited to see how relegation pans out before the additional punishment.
Should have just sent them down and gotten over with it. This kiddy glove handling isn't setting a good example.
Everton play:
Chelsea (a)
Forest(h)
Liverpool (h)
Brentford(h)
Luton(a)
Sheff Utd (h)
Arsenal(a)
2 points clear of forest & Luton with a GIH.
squeaky bum time for them and for some reason i want them to go down.
The timing of this extra two-points to avoid any significant spanner for those in the relegation zone, strongly indicates their concern of a wider-backlash.
I'll call it now, Manchester City or Chelsea will be asked to pay a significant fine and will be informed at the start of next season, they will be -30 points, knowing full well it will have no significant impact on them for their future.

Completely agree - that is exactly what happened here. The Prem will fancy they will stay up even with the additional 2 points. Plus it’s so low it’s not even worth appealing for Everton.
There making these numbers up, it's not serious, if they were serious it should be 10 points or more, what are they trying to achieve? Makes no sense at all

They didn’t have to sign Beto this summer - knowing they will still breach the rules - that’s my issue with this. They didn’t sell Onana, Pickford, DCL, Branthwaite to try and balance the books to avoid a points deduction. Reducing a bit isn’t good enough - Forest got done for 4 points because they held onto Brennan Johnson for an additional month to get greater value for him - double the punishment, it’s an absolute joke.
Everton should have had another 10 with no appeal possible and told to faaaack off.
Let’s say Leeds are struggling next season and at FFP limit - what’s to stop them blowing FFP by £100m and staying up, knowing all that will happen is they will get a 2 point deduction the following season. What stops Bewcastle spending half a billion this summer to win the title knowing the punishment will be a couple of points deduction the following season and no entry to Europe.
It’s a joke and the rest of the Prem should be appealing such a lenient sentence
How about spurs just do better and stop worrying and complaining about what other clubs are doing
Look at Arsenal for an example

How about Everton play by the rules. This has nothing to do with Spurs as the 2 clubs are at completely different ends of the league and have been for a long time now and given how skint you are I would be amazed if that changes in the next couple of decades.
But what about the sides that were relegated at the expense of Everton’s now proven financial cheating?

No, their issue is their wages to revenue turnover is about 96% - they love sacking and paying off schitt managers. They had a schitt number 10 fetish buying 4 in the same summer. They get some of the worst sponsorship deals in the league.
Finally their very biggest issue was they had the worst board of any club in the league, they weren’t fit to run a bath. Their fans have my sympathy for that, but Leicester/Leeds are in the Championship because of this cheating - which is unfair
Both Everton and Forest were in communication with the Prem about complying with PSR even though they still broke the rules.
I think the prem have punished them accordingly because there was at least a will to comply with the rules on their part.
Forest took their punishment on the chin and didn't appeal. Everton are using their victim card to the fullest, blaming everyone else but themselves.
