We'll deserve whatever we end up with. But with results like this it will take the sheen off the season if we do somehow end up with 4th. Turning into a very meh season.

I appreciate what you say, but I think whoever gets 4th this year is a charlaton. So far off the proper teams. Being the best of a very bad rest isn't all that great.

Lol, we should just save everyone some time and go straight to Europa as I don't like to CL failure clubs dropping in.

Starting to agree with this now. The only benefit to the CL is the money to spend on a rebuild but even that doesn’t really work because unless you’re a side like City, who are guaranteed to finish top four, you can’t make financial decisions based on a one off qualification because you’re then dealing with a large outlay when you haven’t qualified the next year.

We’re just not ready yet.

Another reason why we should just stick with Europa - clubs that fail in the CL from next year can no longer drop into the EL. So if we fail in the CL, which we would, then that’s it. We’re out of Europe. It’s just not worth it. I’ll be happy with any European footie now.

I know I'm not emotionally invested & might think differently if that was the case, but honestly lads after your game vs. Chelsea you should've known right there & then who this manager was. There's being bold & courageous, and there's being genuinely stupid for the sake of preserving "principles" & "aesthetics", a manager who does what he did that game is in the Bielsa category of living or dying on that sword.

Games like today, in a league as competitive as the PL, are simply an inevitability with a manager like this regardless of who he's got to select from. If you can't accept that I get it, not unreasonable what so ever, but if you like him you'll need to take these lumps.

You have no Europa, only the League to focus on, you should really do better. If you manage to get Europa next season, it wont get easier than this season.
