Shane is still a fantastic player and I reckon if he stays injury free he will have a good tournament, he scored a lot of tries last time out in 2007 despite us not getting past the pool stage.
We are in a very tough pool, probably the toughest possible but I am still optimistic, South Africa are a great side but are beatable and we have had a lot of close games with them over the last few years, Fiji and Samoa are both good outfits but I still think this Autumn our boys will come good and will see us to the Quarters at the very least.
Shane is back in full training as of today which is great news for Wales also Gethin Jenkins and Halfpenny back in full training, if Wales want to progress out of this world cup pool they will need the best team possible.
'Shamed Williams' is a nice tabloid headline to get the attention without the article actually saying anything about Shane?
I honestly think we will lose our opener to South Africa, fail to compete with the physicality and most importantly of all the pace of Fiji or Samoa!
I can't see us getting out of this group especially as all our injured players are back and will get straight into the team even if they play badly, Gatland's policy of reputation before form is now well established look no further than Katie Price, sorry I meant Gavin Henson, Mike Phillips and past examples, Gareth Cooper, Andy Powell, shocking decisions.
Not much to be positive about I'm afraid. My advice will be to be prepared to support a good side like Ireland or New Zealand, yes we beat Ireland but be honest, the way we played we shouldn't have.
Quarter finalists will be; New Zealand (w), France (ru), England (w), Scotland (ru), Australia (w), Ireland (ru), South Africa (w) and Fiji (ru). Argentina might get in before Scotland, it's a close one that but I think Scotland will edge it.
