3 goals this season . Wonderkid.

James Garner hasn't had a bad season either at Everton despite their off and on the field issues.
Elanga another one who has flourished.
It's heavy shirt to wear the United one. Every single performance is analysed under a microscope and a lot of players simply can't handle it.

I think the pressure has diminished significantly since 2013, with standards and expectations steadily dropping
Pleased to see he’s carving out a decent PL career for himself. Ditto Garner & Elanga.
I think we maybe forget what an incredible achievement it is to emerge from a pro-level academy and play regular PL football. 20 PL squads of 25 players each puts you in elite company as one of the top 500 players on the country. When you multiply that by the other best leagues; Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A & Ligue 1, it means that to play PL football puts you among the best 2,500 players on the planet. That’s pretty remarkable really given the popularity and global adoption of football!

I think people sometimes lose sight of how remarkably good at football every single player in the PL is. It is an incredible achievement to be anywhere near it.
Over the past few years I've started going to a fair bit of lower league football when I can, and it really puts it into context. Because believe me, even the players in the national league are facking good. But when you watch a PL game up close, the sheer difference in speed and quality is almost unbelievable.

The pressure on United players is greater than ever when we go long periods without winning stuff. United are still the biggest supported team in the World, The pressure on United players is ridiculous. Especially when they dont perform.
What pressure?
Nobody expects United to win anything of note for the foreseeable future.
Look at Onana, Rashford Maguire. They aren't under 'immense pressure' despite being average at best, and will all be at the club next season.
Look at Arsenal and Liverpool today. That was pressure.

Playing for Utd can weigh a player down. Some thrive though but, no matter what, even getting a game for United means they're bloody good at football.
I always think there will be pressure on United players but, at present, expectations are low so if you give it 100% each game and can do the basics then no one will really criticise.
