Arsenal are usually shiete in Euro comps - you rank 4th in London for Euro trophies.
The most surprising thing this week was how many people thought you stood a chance tonight - per lease, tough euro away nights is not in Arsenals DNA
They don’t. Arsenal have some very good players, but bayerns are better for the most part. Not a hell of a lot in it, but enough.

Arsenal looked shattered. They look a shadow of the team from even a month ago.
The manager and most of the squad really aren’t experienced at this level, so I’m not really surprised we’ve not met the mentality required. Frustrating we can look much better against top domestic rivals, but we just dont have the experience to translate that to a level we’re not use to, Europe and high pressure run ins. We can only get that experience by going through it, or maybe bringing in some more experienced players at that level. Im not letting Arteta off the hook, but given how inexperienced the squad is in Europe particular, it’d be a tough ask for any experienced manager to get them over the line in Europe
Against Porto was the same problem. Boys against men, Porto is levels bellow us, but they managed to get to penalties. Arsenal can't cope with pressure
When it gets marginal like and small differences matter - generally Arsenal don’t have what it takes.

Maybe, bayern have had a poor season and they’ve actually stepped up a bit vs arsenal, and with that quality, was too much for the gunners. Arsenal will certainly be feeling the effects of a hard pl season, but on paper that bayern team has more quality, and that’s enough sometimes

Not even a debate, but it's not a topic on this thread
Saka hasn't been good recently but to be fair he was only two behind the top GA's in the entire competition. He's overplayed he will be burnt out by the times he's 25.
This was a normal result for Arsenal, an expected one. Arsenal never beat any big European club. The purpose of Arsenal as a football club is to be fodder to make the heavy weights to look good
Liverpool have 6
United have 3
Chelsea have 2
City have 1
Even Forest have some
Arsenals purpose is to never win a big European trophy
And city only came into existence 15 years ago!

White, Saliba, Gabriel, Rice, Havertz, Saka and Odegaard have been overplayed this season and are showing very clear signs of fatigue.
Arteta's lack of rotation was the undoing of him last season with Saliba's injury, Parteys form dropping off a cliff etc. Same story this season. Plus the obvious lack of a striker. 4 goal Jesus is not the standard we need in the PL.
Should also be noted we only made our third sub of a possible 5 in the 86th minute. A game where we looked tired, weren't looking like scoring and all we had done were the predictasubs we all knew would come.
