Don’t rise to it mate, half these lot still think we’re going to qualify for the CL - they are in for a surprise, whereas we can see the writing on the wall.

City heading for Pens now, if they go out then it’s more or less done unless Liverpool and West Ham pull off the unlikeliest comeback since A line flares

Even though it’s been mostly slim pickings in Europe for us I miss not being in any of the competitions regardless of how good or bad we do.

This is the issue isn’t it - we will get to last 16/Quarters and be up against someone like Feyenoord - beatable if we take it seriously but very dangerous if we don’t. The problem is we will be in a fight for a CL spot and have Crystal Palace away on the weekend - we will prioritise the league game, lose in the Europa and then get done at Palace anyway. It’s a tale as old as time itself

nobody was predicting Villa to win at the Emirates, still all to play for. I suspect there will still be a few more twists and turns, it's been that sort of season

We might get the odd result, but we’re not winning 3 of those 4, which is probably what is now needed to keep up with Villa.

I don’t care either to be honest, I like the Europa and it’s more our level currently. We will sail through the group stage and might win the odd knockout game.

If we can beat the Gooners in a weeks time and then properly end their season then overall I will be quite satisfied
