Very true. You can have all the money in the world but the guy is the best on the planet. Mancini and Pellegrini had all of the same advantages and didn’t come close to what Pep has achieved.
The club as a whole look like they have cheated but no other active manager would have done what Pep has regardless imo.
Most clubs (probably) have a legitimate complaint against City and certainly have the ‘won the lottery’ angle to go at.
But United don’t.
We have enough resources to beat them, or at least compete. We don’t compete because the clubs been run appallingly.
Pep moaning about the health of his players after being forced to play today after their midweek game.
Can someone tell Pep is upto him what team he puts out.

And he is on 25 million a year to manage it
I don't have an issue with the club - particularly not the fans or the players, who have nothing to do with how the finances are used.
Indeed, half my family are MCFC supporters, whereas the other half of my family, like myself, have picked the better (and bigger) club to support.
I've no time, however, for LFC or AFC. So if United were/are not going to win the EPL (and they clearly weren't/aren't capable even before the season started) then anybody but AFC or LFC will have to do.
I'll spend the rest of the season 'cheering on' any team either of them are playing - only difficult when they play each other, but that's another story.
They bought their way to where they are. Liverpool United Arsenals was built from years of organic growth.

And if he fielded a second string today he'd be accused of disrespecting the cup. Can't win either way really but I don't think it would of been hard to allow us the Sunday fixture?
ok
but you would have never got a City fan bigging up United like this when we were wining everything.
Hence, 'The Bitters'.
BTW in sport, I'm not sure you can 'take the cheating away' to conclude that anybody's sporting achievements are 'admirable'.
Not from where I come from, anyway. It's actually immoral.
