How are we 2 down. No one going to the ball and all from a slow build up by Forest.
Danilo not closing down again
Beaten by 2 pot shots in off the posts
Have we missed Ryan Yates today?
We’re not winning this then. I wish we would at least question their keeper like they are with ours. No shots going at them. No chance of scoring
Another pen shout. I'm guessing it will not be given.
Yates and Ribeiro on. Origi getting a lovely welcome too
9 minutes of injury time. Can we at least get a shot on target ?
Harrison gives away a foul that is the exact same tackle young did on Reyna. Anthony Taylor is a joke
So Stewart Atwell is on VAR today. He's a well known Luton fan. No wonder we have not had any pens awarded. But people will still say Forest fans just moan alot.
We are being robbed today, it is so obvious.
Just when I thought the officiating could not get any worse we get served up this utter tripe.
Our fans have paid hard earned money to go and watch and then the game is fixed. Keith Stroud was 4th official and Attwell in VAR are Luton fans. How is this allowed ?
Forest have accused the PGMOL of bias with the appointment of Atwell as VAR and not changing him before the game.
We were sh**e today and the statement released by the club does not help our course ffs !!
Do we grab 2 away wins and survive on GD compared with Luton.
Burnley have some tough fixtures.
While I am not a fan of the club putting out this type of statement I do think something has to be done. Attwell cannot be let of for clearly getting 3 big decisions wrong.
The 3rd decision is the worst of all as it was both clear and obvious that the ref had got it wrong.
If any of those 3 are given the whole game changes especially the 3rd which should have been a red.
I think at 1:1 we would have been on top and could have gone on to win. We will never know thanks to, at best, incompetent officials and at worse corrupt officials.
If we do go down then, even with some very poor performances, it will be VAR that has done us the most damage with big decisions are key points in games.
Chances were always going to be at a premium, MGW had a beauty, and failed to hit the target. Pickford made a great save from Wood, that apart we were pretty toothless. VAR has given us nothing all season, why would today be any different.
Everton were terrible but at least had a couple of pot shots from outside the area, both went in.
We have a £32M AFCON winner sat on the bench, but does Nuno use him, not a chance.
We are where we deserve to be because we simply aren’t good enough, and crying afterwards just sounds like sour grapes, certainly won’t help the appeal next week, not that i expect that to help us anyway.
We can still survive, it is still in our hands, only time will tell.
Brian Laws and others can say that we weren't good enough till the cows come home, but if we score from any one of the clear penalties we were denied, it is a totally different game.
It may be a moot point, but the number of VAR decisions that have gone against us, and TBF, others in the prem this season is fecking ridiculous.
The one on Reyna was pretty much the same as the soft penalty we conceded at Newcastle, I'd say both weren't penalties, but if they give one they should give the other, but guess the club will be fined for the statement they put out - or maybe docked some points LOL
I wrote before that we were playing against 12 men. I was wrong, it was against 14 men. Everton, the match referee, the 4th official and Atwell, the VAR ref. This has to be investigated.
We not victims, and must own and learn from our poor performances
Every club in the league should be concerned the those in charge of the game can't make consistent decisions.
The 3 non-pens today don't have to be penalties, certainly not the way I used to play. But because we have all seen very similar situations where they have been given the expectation is we should be getting the same outcome.
We not the only club this season, but that doesn't make it alright. I am not a fan of the clubs statement but we have to back it now and push for change and if the other clubs have got any back bone they will follow us in demanding change.
Having just watched MOTD all three think the first two shouts for a penalty are subjective, the third can only be described as 100 percent stone wall, that is from the pundits mouth.
Basically come the end of the season PGMOL will issue an apology saying, ‘sorry you are relegated’, probably followed by a smiley face.
On the third shout for a penalty AshleyYoung gets no where near the ball and takes our player out, Taylor indicates he got the ball, what on Earth are VAR doing agreeing with him, yet again, NOT fit for purpose.
When the team was announced I have to admit I was OK with it. With hindsight It turns out I was wrong.
Yates should have started on the pitch not on the bench. Origi should have started as Elanga's replacement.
As I say, this is all hindsight, but the lessons have to be learnt: Yates ahead of Dominguez or Danilo; If Elanga is not fit Origi ahead of Reyna for the remaining games. Reyna is not at Premier league level.
