We better facking beat arsenal. And we better beat chelsea, we absolutely owe them and poch one. Hate them both.
And then burney & sheff should be 6 points.
So minimum 12 points and 4th place 😁

Phenom's predictions made me nearly spit my tea out. 4 wins? You've got to be joking. We might possibly pick up a win against Arsenal on the grounds that it's a derby and they can go either way but to say we're going to pick up three against a vastly improved Chelsea side at the Bridge is just crackers.
i did comment again..
is it bad that i would happily take your predictions and run? maybe with a draw or win vs chelsea
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair do's. Didn't see your second post. Nothing wrong with it anyway. I admire your optimism for those Arsenal and Chelsea games but I just can't see it. Believe it or not, my predictions were optimistic. Hoping for a draw against Arsenal when we play such open football is dreaming really. I'm only basing it on Spurs turning up and pressing like dogs because of the occasion. It's also fairly optimistic to assume wins over relegation level teams when we've always found them difficult this year.
It really is hard to know. We could win the lot or lose them all. That in a nutshell is the problem with our season.

I think we'll finish 6th. While entertaining I think Ange's brand of football is naive for this level. We are nowhere near the likes of City, Liverpool Arsenal and our style of football invites trouble/encourages mistakes that force us to chase games away from home. Ange has a lot to learn at the highest level.
I know he talks a lot about performances and getting better every game and its all a "project" but this is a results business and he's not in a pub league anymore..... Honeymoon is over !
Massive summer coming up for Spurs. Its time for something tangible..... Style over substance aint gonna cut it anymore
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's hard to argue with any of this. Some will say it's pessimistic but it's not, it's realistic.
If these games were staggered throughout the season and not bunched together, I think we'd all say we'd come up with something similar. The only reason people haven't is because we all have that "surely we won't lose that many on the trot" mentality. It's also worth mentioning that, although our record against the big six has been good this year, most of those games came during our purple patch before November. The side they'll be facing this time around just isn't playing as well, and we're one, possibly two vital full backs down (possibly Porro out of the Arsenal game).
On Ange and his tactics, I guess we have to ask ourselves why, if the likes of Pep and Arteta are such football purists, do they now have such strong defensive stability. Pep often lines up with 4 centre backs and Arteta only encourages one full back coming into midfield at any one time, not both. The reason why is because they've tried the ultra expansive style and it doesn't work. It's easy to pick off. Now that doesn't mean Ange is the wrong man, I think he's principled but he'll tweak things if he feels we're too open eventually. The very fact he routinely brings on PEH to protect a lead suggests he's more results driven than people think. He'll adapt, just as the players will adapt. It's just going to take quite a long time and a lot of investment to get right.
I was thinking Sheff and Burnley might be shoe ins for 3 points but that Burnley win at the weekend could keep them well in the fight by the time our meeting comes around.
Not going to bother predicting what points we'll pick up but top 4 looks doubtful.
Arsenal (H) Draw
Chelsea (A) Lose
Liverpool (A) Lose
Burnley (H) Win
Man City (H) Draw
Sheffield UTD (A) Win
8 points
I actually think 9 points.
If we do what we minimally expect and one surprise.
We never do well at Sheff Utd…
Can’t see us beating anyone, but Burnley…
So a couple of draws & the Burnley win… 5 points 😞
So me & PHENOM are the most confident with 10 & 12 points respectively!

Yep- we’ve been there before haven’t we. In 2010, we lost on final day to relegated Burnley 4-2. Then somehow lost 5-1 to relegated Newcastle few years back. Only Spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last season 4-1 at relegated leeds
season before 4-0 at relegated Norwich
season before that 4-2 at Leicester
but yeah, you go with 2010 as a good sample of Spurs messing up the final day

It depends. If we start well and get an early goal, they'll panic big time and we'll have a chance of winning it. If they play their usual game and we're as open as we have been recently, it could be a sore one.

I don’t think we will be. Two weeks without a game means we could be quite sluggish out of the blocks. Also, normally prep time allows you the time to work on a specific game plan against the opposition. Ange doesn’t really do tactical stuff about stopping our opponents so there’s no real gain from this time off.

We can but not if Ange continues with structural suicide.
Dropping Sarr in this system is ludicrous and he must immediately be brought back into the side.
Also one of Richarlison and kulu must always play as they are the only players in the squad with hold up ability We have seen several times that no one else can hold it up.
If Arsenal play the game not the occasion then they should really beat us. If they play the occasion then it’s up for grabs.
Extremely concerned about set pieces, which we seemingly have no intention to improve.
