No idea tbh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That doesn't really support your claim its bizarre that some question if big clubs woikd be interested in Rashford.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What the fack are you going on about?

Bizarre to think that, at the right price, Rashford wouldn't be picked up by a big club.

He has his faults, but he'd be a target for many imo.

Price probably means he won't go though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What sort of price do you think big clubs would be interested at?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody will be intetested at 300K a week. So unless he fancies a massive pay cut elsewhere, hes on a 5 year contract at United. So hes probably going nowhere for a couple more years.

posted on 24/4/24

Maybe Spurs. Maybe Barca. Possibly Juve. Can't see many interested at the sums involved.

If we're honest, Rashford would be a squad player at any top European club.

He'd be priced out of clubs like Spurs, Dortmund, RBL, Juve etc which are probably his ideal next step.

I dont think anyone has ever questioned his commitment. Its his application thats the problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Disagree, he can't be bothered to do the basics for his club or team mates on the pitch. I can understand bad form, but a lack of effort is unforgivable.

He called in sick hungover, he was dropped for being late last season. Some basics of being a professional. Can you imagine any really top player dong this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He didn't call in sick. He attended training, but said he was unwell. Maybe he was hungover, maybe he was unwell, we will never know. Which you choose to believe probably points to to what you think of Rashford right now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We know he spent the day prior in clubs in Ireland. There are reports of him being very drunk and being a bit inappropriate with a waitress.

Even if only the first point is true, it's unprofessional.

Spurs might be interested at £50-60m and reduced wages.

Juve can make these sorts of deals happen.

Struggling to see who would want him and could afford him beyond that.

He was on his own time.

Yes, if he was too smashed to train, that's bad, but we don't know that as fact.

I've been thinking for a while that some of the players' attitudes suggest they know that ETH is off this summer.

Rashford definitely one of those.

Or maybe he's just lazy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rashford's lethargy in doing his defensive duties was evident under Ole and has gotten worse and worse, including last season.

I don't necessarily disagree that some players seem to be playing as though they know the manager is out, but we've seen all of these before from some of these players.

Shaw and Eashford are the only players present s8nce LVGs days, and iv never heard any reports of Shaws' attitude being bad.

Makes you wonder if Rashy is the bad influence within the squad. His body language and performances would support that.

I'm not so sure.

You think he'd be played in the next game he was well enough for if he'd turned up smashed after drinking until 5 hours before training started,

I find it pretty funny that some people think PSG would come in for this guy and throw around numbers like £70m.

He’s an absolute mess by the looks of things. Shame really, seems a nice lad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I'm not sure. I guess Mbappe going to Madrid leaves a big hole in their side, and how many players with a name as big as Rashford are available?

Also, I guess it depends on the cause of his drop in form, maybe insiders put it down to ETH or just being unhappy in Manchester?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
wouldnt surprise me if someone like Rodrygo goes to PSG if/when Mbappe goes.

There's lots of reports, guardian, telegraph. They all quote the following from the Sun:

“I’m not surprised he missed training the next day given how late he got to bed and how much he’d had to drink," she said. "He must’ve known he wasn’t going to be in any fit state to play football.”

Sancho refused to take accountability. We've seen Garnacho apologise recently and make his way back into the team, that's all Sancho had to do.

xavi simons is a psg player, just been on loan twice
----------------------------------------------------------------------
not entirely accurate, he was sold to PSV but PSG agreed a buy back clause which they then activated.

Wasn’t there a woman working at a bar who met up with Rashford and his entourage that night after her shift and ended up putting him to bed in the early hours because he was wasted? He then got on a private jet only a couple hours later for training. Sounded pretty depressing, booked a whole floor of an Italian restaurant and blasted out music on his speakers then had an argument with a women he was supposedly seeing at the time and threw all her clothes out of the hotel room. Pretty sure he was hungover and fined, but maybe RDD, I mean Mainoo Man knows better?
