He's always going to be like this. Normally he has Konate to bail him out but even he's woefully out of form.

posted on 25/4/24

I’m very much hoping the new manager moves him into midfield tbh.

Calvert Lewin is a terrible footballer player but the one thing he can do is win a header from a corner. Just don’t let him do it ffs!

posted on 25/4/24

Do you realise who he bottled the header with on the edge of the box? Mykolenko!!! FFS I’d probably have half an eye looking if I thought Tarkowski or some other grunt was steaming in. Either way, Trent shat himself

Means more than it does for City, that’s for sure.

Wasn’t great play but I don’t think he bottled it one bit. In fact I think it’s a silly thing to say.

The second goal is rank amateur management and I put that on Virgil. He’s the fvcking captain, he’s the one who should be picking up DLC.

After DCL scored he turned around to blame people when it was entirely on him.

Was surprised at his post match comments tbh.

Don’t think he bottled it?!?! What…so he lost the flight of it and got underneath it?!? He 100% pulled out of that aerial duel. And they scored from it. Not directly I accept that but was a major part of the mess.

Decent player but yesterday was nothing new for you lot in regards to him whether it's facing up to a winger or being in a position like he was yesterday he can't defend. He's the first player I look for when we play you Martinelli always has him on toast. Technically a good player but he's got to be moved into midfield. Him, Macallister and a decent 6 would be good for you.

Not sure on Trent in midfield, from what I've seen of him. He's like a quarter back and his passing range is crazy, but is he really good enough all round to play in midfield? Not sure Klopp believes so

Klopp has 4 games left so doesn’t really matter what he thinks.

Surely he can do what Thiago could do when he was fit in midfield.

Well, that is true but he's also an excellent judge of players so you would think his opinion is closest to the truth. But yeah be interesting to see what the next manager does

Hes just not a right back anymore. His defensive frailties have always been there but he at least used to make an effort. Now players just knock the ball past him. The amount of times this season hes been done in a 1v1 situation is bordering on schoolboy level. Its an effort thing for me. He clearly has no interest in developing that side of his game.

He needs to move into midfield. Maybe he will now bradley looks like a proper fullback more in the robertson mold who have do both sides of the game more than competently.

I doubt he'll ever get the type of positional freedom he gets now under Klopp under any other manager.

posted on 25/4/24

Hes just a really really poor right back.
Great delivery and technique as you say, but I dont even think his crossing is that impressive when he does 5/6 more crosses per match than any other player in the league. No wonder he gets quite a few assists for a fullback. Free roam and can spam cross (albeit very good ones).

Just not a right back. Not sure where he fits in tbh.
think bradley will become a better all round player.

Said no proper Liverpool fan ever! Absolute jokers.

The only team you should want them to win it instead of is United.

Let me guess.....you're a cockney bin dipper aren't you and know loads of Arsenal fans? As bad as the same in our fanbase making same claim.

"nobody cares if City win it..."

This is what I don't understand about this copium: why would anyone else, other than the supporters of the winning club, care? Stupid statement.

Dont think its down to ability defensively its an attitude issue. Especially early days when he first came onto the scene he had some really good defensive performances and has had a few most seasons tbf. So hes shown he can do it. His concentration and attitude when it comes to defending though are poor, reckon Virgils questioning of desire was largely aimed at Trent.

Anyways...away from Nick's foolishness.

I don't know how many times Klopp has said that the system is setup for Trent to influence the game as he sees fit and it's up to the rest of the team to cover for him. He jogs back because that's what he is told to do. I'm not exempting him from criticism...just stating that Klopp knows the risks he takes with playing Trent the way he plays him....it's just that he rathr put his faith in Trent to hurt the opposition more than he rather restrict Trent just so we don't concede a few chances.

Klopp has always been high risk and he always rather risk his soul on our strengths than cover our weaknesses.

Yeah if there is one thing I hate in football, it’s rivalry.

Absolutely hate it.
