Spot on Thorney! It’s a sigh of relief more than a celebration. I’m far from convinced with Top continuing to back Rudkin and Whelan - but the key thing is, financially it’s a huge step in the right direction
We’ll probably end up with less than Derbys 11 points next season 😂 But at least we’re back for now
Congratulations lads
Let's hope we join you in a couple of weeks.
Quick question, as I'm not in England or read up on the case. Are you expecting some kind of sanction/deduction once you're back in the PL? What's the story there?
Football hurts. Congratulations. You had a wobble but recovered well when it mattered.
Time to celebrate tonight. Zero chance of Top making the necessary changes at DoF level to secure a better future now we're promoted.
As far as sanctions etc we'll see - if the EPL/EFL can possibly do it they'll give us a heavy points deduction. It depends on how good the rules are for our situation - and how weasley our lawyers can be!
Well a PL points deduction is a near certainty. There’s no question there. It’s just if the EFL try and barge in on the act
BS, you mean you think the EFL might still be able to hit you with a deduction? First I've heard.

They can only work to the rules in place so no we can't lose points this Season and our transfer embargo stops at the end of June so it's all down to the Premier League now and how many points we get deducted if any.

The media have reported on the possibility of the EFL and the PL working together if Leicester get promoted and also breach EFL spending rules for this season,
It would require a change to the rules but it is possible.

I can't see them changing the rules, they aren't stupid. Or are they?
They would end up in court for sure.
98P - how many problems get knocked off if Rudders is given the boot?

If Rudkin goes then all 98 remaining problems are gone as far as I’m concerned!
Wouldn’t put it past the EPL and EFL to attempt something but once again the club would I’m sure respond with legal action. The loophole has seriously embarrassed both of them. Either way - sanctions are incoming likely from both at some point (when we get relegated again!!)
