Hadn’t seen yesterday’s surprise news that Maeda’s back in training. Huge boost that.

It's great news mate. He's been great this season, and irreplaceable against Rangers.

"Daizen Maeda WILL return to the Celtic squad for next weekend's game against Hearts, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed"

[Dundee match]
They will be without injured skipper Joe Shaughnessy and loan star Owen Beck.
But there will also be a key absence on the touchline.
Manager Tony Docherty is suspended for Sunday’s 3pm

Harsh on Scales. Yes, he's back to probably where we might have expected - for the meantime at least. He has absolutely done better than expected, especially up to the break including the CL. He helped build a lead that whilst we've subsequently blown, we'd not be where we are otherwise. He has been a mainstay when Welsh, CCV, sick note, Lager have all been out for extended periods. His heading stats are very very good and let's face it they need to be when playing in the SPFL and Taylor is your LB.

Agreed mate. I am being a bit harsh on him. He's been decent, but not the class we should have in that position. His runs over the halfway line always worry me.

A bit harsh too. He's hardly in the David Luiz bombscare league and it is only an issue if nobody covers the position plus CCV hardly ever does it. We can't complain about side to side then moan when we try something different. Can't beat the sight of a big CB galloping through the press!
