Honestly, I've never known a Manager to sugar coat things so much. It must drive you mad.

TBF, we are entertaining, sadly for the neutral and visitors though, for the most part.

'ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED'

He will be chucking loaves of bread at us next.

Why has this word "fraud" entered the lexicon in recent years when talking about a manager? Was ETH a "fraud" last season? Was he one at Ajax?

Supposedly Ajax want him back, which would surely be a good deal for all parties.

Can United fans get through a discussion about United managers, players, owners and state of their club without shoehorning something about Liverpool in?

A bit like you can’t get through a day without posting about Man Utd or arguing with Man Utd fans.

He's not a fraud. He's just not good enough. Doesn't make him a terrible person or bad manager for every club. He's just not up to this job and he should go back to Ajax.

Some of the nonsense he's coming out with at the moment is clearly the pressure that's got to him. I don't really think too much about it because it's obvious why he's saying it.

He will be gone soon and we move on. I will wish him well wherever he goes next. I just don't want him to be out manager.

Total neutral, but on ETH I’ve struggled to understand WTF he’s on about in pressers and interviews during most of his tenure. Have also thought to myself well that must translate badly when trying to get his message across to players. Utd certainly play like they haven’t a clue what he wants them to do.

What an incredibly weird way to work the Suarez / Evra situation into conversation.

It's because on every Utd article, 50% of the first few comments are scousers.

Good point, I feel the same. Unsure if it's slightly broken English or he's just a bit weird.

I've tried to convince myself he tries to play on it being broken English so to just avoid the media in the past.

It's interesting that an article by a Liverpool fan about Slot has amassed four comments – all from Liverpool fans – in 12+ hours, while an article by a United fan about Ten Hag has got 20 comments – many from Liverpool fans – in under an hour.

Clear proof, if it were needed, that for both United and Liverpool fans, United remain the big draw.

If Slot starts to repeatedly say silly things, no doubt those articles will gain more traction.

I get the feeling he would do very well at Chelsea, obviously better than Pochettino. They have runners at midfield and the flanks.

There's an ounce of ability, just not much of everything else, managerial flexibility to basic man management. What he needs is a very rigid DOF. Many managers these days need one
