BREAKING: The first general election MRP poll in seats

LAB: 476
CON: 66
LD: 59
Green: 2
Reform: 0

10,000 people
Via @ElectCalculus & @findoutnow

Electoral Calculus accurately predicted the outcome of the 2019 GE at this same stage in the campaign

If their current forecast holds true, the Tories will experience their worst result in history, with the Lib Dems trailing by just 7 seats to become the official opposition

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine if the Tories weren’t even in opposition.

I don’t think that’s ever happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It could happen tbh, 8 seats is nothing these days for them especially with the lack of vetting the Tories are doing for their candidates.

They could easily risk selecting a couple of seeex pests who will end up losing the whip down the line
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’d be surprised if it happened. But it would be one of the most monumental in world history.

And all because of little Rishi, the lettuce and Boris. True patriots, taking down the enemy.

Having just spent some time in the UK the last few weeks I have to say i was shocked at how things have regressed so much. Are we basically broke?

Motorways no longer fit for purpose and restricted to 50 mph for a majority of any journey. Up keep in general around towns and cities was shocking.

Sad times.

Yes we’re broke.

And way more than we ever were under Labour.

Assumed that was the case, seemed fairly obvious. Never been that apparent before.

The Tories have been abysmal caretakers of this country

I thought the way Starmer got rid of that Muslim candidate was very unfair. Had led her to believe she was running, then told her she'd been deselected an hour before nominations had to be finalised, to prevent her from standing as an independent candidate.

Also that lower our voices comment from the moderator last night. Jesus wept, who do these people think they are?

Dear Rishi,

Can you please explain how you plan to look after the NHS, cut waiting lists, employ more doctors, nurses teachers, police and increase defence spending AND cut taxes?

Now THAT would be a stunning plan!

Tories useless, I will reserve my judgement on the incoming Government for 5 years maybe.
Bringing back Cameron and Hunt an absolute farce and the death knoll for this shower under Sunak.

Like Cameron...was gracious enough to stand down when Brexit was voted in too...

Does anyone know three really good things that have happened for us since Breixit

Genuine question

Gracious? It’s the least he could have done having so Royally fvcked the country for the next 100 years

He was like a rat on a sinking ship, no grace about him whatsoever.

They call it graciiys at Eton/Oxbridge. Us bog standard uneducated folk call it cowardice knowing there's no consequences for your actions after a lifetime of entitlement.

Everyone was fooled (mainly by Boris Johnson) and had their sovereignty played with!

The idea of the once great Britain 'regaining' control it's boarders, being self sufficient, to have substantial internal economic growth and have a good ole British jolly up is a very noble vision and dream.

However in real world that just isn't really possible...
We are still importing like we always have and are having to pay more for the same stuff, the pound has weakened and we handed over full control of this country to one of the worst governments in history

Speak for yourself. I said it the whole time exactly like it has turned out and even my JA history would bear witness to that.
