Ridiculous.
And yes, very arrogant.
First season at Celtic he conceded 13 from set plays.
The next he conceded 7 which was the lowest in the league.
Patience.

Lol, I'm not saying get rid, but simple fixes. The Vicario issue has been happening since City FA Cup.
Yeah city were the first team i remember putting a man on vicario and after that Maddison was the guy who would try protect Vicario. Now we’ve stopped that so that means there has been a conscious decision to not have a man protect Vicario. Crazy
Tbf it's been a problem since last pre season. I remember we conceded a goal and he was asked about conceding from set pieces. Can't remember what he said but it was along the lines it's not something they have not practiced much lol.
We conceded two goals against West Ham in Oz when we lost 3-2.
Postecoglou remained bullish about Tottenham’s defence despite two early goals conceded to set pieces.
“We haven’t really done a lot of work on our structures on set pieces,” Postecoglou said after the match.
As much as I do feel a bit of work could be done on set piece defending I also feel that top level players should notice set up's by attacking teams and adjust accordingly at times?
He did manage to cut the amount of goals Celtic lost from set pieces, used to dread corners against the bigger physical teams, but I didn't notice any real specific changes second season other then a bit more man marking and GK protection but to be fair that might have also been the players taking more responsibility?

Agreed. For Hojbjerg's own goal about 3 or 4 Woowlwich players managed to get goal side. It's weak and should not be allowed to happen.
If he doesn’t sort it out and we keep conceding 3 or four goals, he will be gone by Christmas
I think it is a combination of things:
1. Its seen as a weakness so it is targeted and this makes it worse. Teams will work on this hard in the lead up to a Spurs game.
2. The keeper is being obstructed and we need to stop this happening by complaining, more pushing and shoving, having a player block their blocker, Vicario hit the deck or whatever! Just don't let it happen without making a massive thing about it so it gets stopped.
3.We lack height and brave attackers of the ball. Even VDV, who is plenty big enough, is a bit soft when going for a header. We miss Kane in this respect, defensively, especially near post. Dier also. Bentancur is a 6 footer, Sarr too, the rest are average or small.
4. There is a lack of organisation & aggression. The zonal positions are taken by the bigger/better headers, but movement from the opposition, like we saw vs Arsenal makes it really hard for these guys to be effective. They are often bypassed. Our blockers are very ineffective. Maddison trying to block Havertz for example is a miss match.
SO for me its not all down to working on set pieces. Its also about the physicality we have on the pitch and the desire we show in these moments, making sure the keeper is not impeded, while individuals, especially the blockers, need to show more aggression.
need to show more aggression.

Or you know, just ditch the ridiculous arrogance, do your job and coach them on how to defend set pieces properly.
And stop blabbing about your tactics (or lack there of) to the opposition.
It’s f*cking basic stuff.
Apparently since this seasons first encounter with Chelsea our results would have us 10th in the Prem.
I'm starting to think we are a bang average team that had a good/lucky start.
I just want to go on record and say if his 'arrogance' is winding up half the fanbase then I want him to do more of it.
Stay humble.

Arrogance is fine if you’re getting the results, if not you just like stupid and stubborn
Is he arrogant though? Or just very confident in his own process seeing as it has served him well in past?
Time will tell.

I like Ange and really hope he comes good but I fear that what might of been good enough to keep set pieces out of the net in Japan, Australia and Scotland isn't in the Prem.
Some acknowledgement of this and some assurances about what we are doing to sort it wouldn't go amiss.

I think he is protecting Mile Jedinak who is in charge of defending set pieces, so admitting there is a problem is throwing him under the bus?

This is exactly it. Ange is protecting his players/staff.
Of course we are working on set pieces. Some of our fans want him to come out and start saying stuff like "yeah, we're shiiiit and need to find a solution"...like that's gonna help
