Birmingham relegated. Ouch.

Yes no way in my opinion after what's unfolded in our final 8 games Farke has the ability to raise the team or pick the correct team to win the play offs but I don't mind being proved wrong but Southampton are way better organised and coached than Leeds and even if we
scrape into the final which is extremely doubtful these
players under DF look shot and not motivated enough
which is unacceptable really and is the polar opposite to
Southampton who could very well embarrass Leeds at Wembley.

They'll have to beat West Brom first.

Southampton are on rubbish form. No guarantee they get past their semi-final.

Did tell you this would happen

I'm not actually too bothered about the likelihood of certain so called star players leaving because the likes of Rutter, Summerville, Gnonto, Meslier in my opinion as Ipswich have proved can be replaced quite easily but I do now question after repeated chances to learn from
his errors and stubbornly carrying on in a blinkered
manner whether Farke should now be let go and
someone with a clearer more flexible approach installed
because something now seems broken with Farke and
his way or the highway.

Whilst the players levels have dropped hugely in the last 6 games that's not nearly as much as Farke's with his stubborn selections, freezing out of certain players, subs too late and predictable one dimensional tactics.

In addition(not for the first time at the club)the January transfer window was a wasted opportunity to add some options and balance to the squad and give options for the very loss of form we ended up seeing.Ipswich did so and it revitalised their season when their form dipped. Incredible that the club can keep making this mistake over and over again.

Careful Rob. You'll be badgered over that thinking.

Farke's probably hit the Mourinho success brick wall.

I wouldn't bet against Birmingham getting to the EPL before Leeds do unless some radical changes and strong leadership from the top take place....This season is done... I'd love to be proved wrong but I think you can see the wheels have come off.

Farke been an utter disgrace last 8 games.

Seems that way Macca but there's always a chance. If farke can't beat his old team who can he beat?

posted on 4/5/24

Farke is the manager for the playoffs, no iffs or buts about it. We look shot, deflated and beat already. We literally have gone from the team to beat, to the team everyone beats.

Its ours to win as we look and feel like we've already lost it.

Compared to Southampton and Ipswich managers, DF is suddenly looking old school..,

I never thought we had depth in this squad. Probs the main reason Farke reluctant to use subs. His assessment the team being young and we have done ok in the circumstances probably fair. Give him another year. Otherwise the next manager comes in and has to deal with all the crap that we have inherited from prev owner. and the cycle just goes on and on. Farke best option imo

I've just read through the MDT... and cheers Earl for continuing everything we all do appreciate it but reading through the comments, some hilarious by the way really made me chuckle, but the theme was deja vu and another rinse and repeat episode with no sign of anything to feel optimistic about.
That is really damning on Farke and I was prepared to cut him some slack but it's quite obvious now he's another Leeds coach that has been found wanting at the most crucial moment so I think barring a personality and mindset transplant from DF the owners will be looking at potential managetial replacements when the dust settles.... Seeing Parraag at the end he looked extremely angry to me.

Every team we play seems to raise its game against Leeds. Southampton have lost their last 3 games but they beat us easily today and when they beat us at their place they then went on a 25 match unbeaten run. We could have just given them the impetus to win their next 3 games.

This season was lost in January when the club collectively sat back and said 'we're good".
We weren't. Not by a long way. Table doesn't lie.

Utter nonsense.

We won game after game.

Team is easily good enough, the manager isnt.

What does it say about rest of of league, if were not good, when we have gotten 90 points, even though we gave everyone a month head start, and got just 4 points from last 18.

Keep telling yourself that.

You've been spouting utter sh 1 te all season long.
You were proved wrong. Quite a few times. Just
own the fact you're no smarter than the next poster
on here. You just spout more. We've been sh 1 te
for a while right when it mattered most. The squad
is nowhere near as good as you banged on about.

Own it pal. It aint Football Manager.
