Absolutely, on all counts. Clancy was a fecking joke throughout. Excellent 90 mins, and the bench looking much stronger. All good. Shout out to wee Jamesie BTW. Fully deserves to be starting playing like today.

Dave a mate of mine works P/T at Livi match days and he's spoken to a fair few of their players about the place and they've said they don't like the pitch either but have been told by the club not to say negative things about it to the press etc

Can totally believe that. I mean who would honestly want to play on that surface every other week?!!

Nothing against Martindale BTW, who I think has worked wonders there for years. Inevitable this would be the end result at some point though.

Good result and a good performance I thought today. Weirdly, thought we didn’t have a lot of control of the game for the first 20 mins-and we scored 2 during that period.

Thought pretty much the whole team was excellent-maybe Kuhn was the quietest?!? Hart, CCV, McGregor, O’Riley and Kyogo with his 2 goals were probably best.

Clancy had an odd game refereeing the match. Let a number of challenges go for either team-yet pulled the game up for some really innocuous stuff as well. Didn’t see why the Hearts player got a yellow card for his challenge on O’Riley over at the touch line.

Special mention for Hearts and Shankland in particular. Like watching a completely different team and especially a player from their semi final performance.

How did he avoid a 2nd yellow for that BTW? Or for his 1st half rugby tackle? The fat cant certainly put in far more of a shift than usual, regularly dropping deep into midfield like Harry Kane (minus the ability obviously).
