😂😂😂
Also Great to see Shinji on the pitch for the Celebrations
Let's celebrate the championship and get ready for next season. We are the best team in the championship, Let's step up for the EPL. I believe we have the players to compete, with improvements and the right mentality we'll be a proper PL side again.

I’d love to have that view - would genuinely love to, but even if we aren’t in line for a massive points deduction next season - we won’t be signing many players and we have a manager who plays a brand of football that has just seen Burnley pretty much relegated
If you want to be negative, today was a microcosm of our struggles with this style of play - pedestrian football with overwhelming possession (75%), easily nullified by a team that is well coached defensively. Suicidal high line defending with players who are slow, leading to a comfortable defeat in the end.
Time to celebrate however, Enzo has achieved what he was tasked to do so all credit to him. Unfortunately it means our useless DoF is likely to remain in place. I'm hoping we won't be good enough to play this way in the EPL so we may garner some points by counter-attacking. Otherwise I can see a long hard miserable season coming.
Oh and if you want an absolute downer for next season, remember we'll have the 5 minute wait to celebrate goals while they are being checked by VAR. Assuming we score some of course!
I’m feeling better already!
Just to continue the gloomy outlook, does anyone have an idea when we might find out about any FFP sanctions for next season?
On a happier note I hope everybody attending today's parade has a great time!
Not sure a date has been set for the independent commission - I guess the aim will be to get the deduction confirmed by early August - similar to Everton.
The scale of the breach could be very significant. Everton got given 10 points reduced to 6 for breaching by £20m. I fear we will be much higher than that.
I would think we could possibly be looking at 12 reduced to 8 or 9 on appeal. Absolutely criminal the way Top, Whelan and Rudkin have let that happen - we would have breached even if we hadn’t have been relegated apparently!
