One of the best sides to watch in the league. Embarrassing decision from them. They'd have been nailed on top 6 next season imo, just needed a 15 goal striker.
I think they will get Steve Cooper.
What's this obsession with Steve Cooper, hope he goes to Hull and not Leeds ! Feel sorry for Rosenior.

Agree.
I honestly think, he is that much of an Ugly B@stard, people feel sorry for him.
Graham Potter never got back into work. Surely he's talilpr made for Hull? Attractive football, small seaside club, owners with ambition (litterally)

Would be a great signing for Hull but feel Potter has been waiting on an offer from a "bigger" club?
Must admit I found it a strange decision.
Brum were 6th when they changed - that went well!
Odd sacking. I read he came 3rd in the Championship Manager of the Season vote.
People say its odd.
3 wins out of 13 games, been given good players.

Spurs, West Ham, Leeds, Palace, Leicester, Wolves, Southampton all needed new managers whilst Potter was available, how big a club is he waiting for? 😅

Farke could get scaked then, weve been garbage for 7.
Ridiculous decision in my opinion. The issue with the Championship is that its that competitive that I reckon around 15 of the teams/owners believe they should be getting automatic promotion or making the playoffs. Given this can only be 8 clubs then it leaves the rest thinking they have had a poor season.
Only defeats were us , Stoke and Plymouth - Plymouth fighting for survival last game of the season.
Draws included against Leicester, an In form Middiesborough and Ipswich.
Thought they looked good against us. Also beat a good Coventry side.
Will concede, like us, it's ultimately a results driven business and they fell just short.
Decision like this suggests the owner has a new
manager lined up already. One maybe he thought
he didn't have a shot at. That's a very good squad.
Get the right manager in and they'll be a threat.
Just reading a bit more about the shock sacking it now comes across more as a personality clash but either way if Hull keep the nucleus of this seasons side they will be strong contenders for promotion who ever takes the job imo.
Regarding Steve Cooper, who managed the England U17 team that won the 2017 U17 World Cup and twice got Swansea with no money to the play offs and did get Forest promoted in his first year managing them and I think did a far better job than Kompany has at Burnley at keeping them up in his first EPL season trying to keep a squad of about 20 new signings happy then if he is given the Hull job I think he will be inheriting a better squad of players than he did when he first arrived at Forest sitting rock bottom of the Championship and still led them to promotion in 2022.
Not everyone's cup of tea obviously as his style of play isn't exactly Bielsa like but definitely a more than capable coach and I'll be surprised if Steve Cooper doesn't do well at Hull if he is appointed there.
Given a 3 year contract in december,
Phil Hay reporting that 49ers wanted Potter as there manager but couldn't get him into discussions as he'd only just left Chelsea, and saw himself as a PL level coach.
He’s a shoe in for ManU. I know someone who has just furnished a house for him within easy reach of Manchester.

Mind you it’s within easy reach of Hull, Liverpool and Leeds as well I guess 🥴

Spot on, Batty. They were a decent side, just a striker short of promotion. I think Bamford would be perfect for them.
Reports saying German coach Tim Walter might be
the bloke they're after. Ex Hamburg. Good reputation.
That would be an interesting hire.
Hull chairman seems ambitious if nothing else.
Reading today that the owner thinks the football they played was boring and they had too many draws. Says he would rather lose 2-3 rather than draw 0-0.
Sounds like only one man for the job - Bielsa.
Doubt that would happen though.
