Clever Emery. Getting in the CL is far more important than winning the Ropey Conference League, which only gets you a Ropey League spot.

I think the top 4 will now remain as it is, only the title to be decided. The rest I'd done IMO.

Only to the balance sheet, although the Villa fans will very much enjoy Madrid, Barca, Milan, Bayern etc.

When you have done that for a few years and have little chance of winning it, it loses its appeal somewhat. The pursuit of CL qualification alone is fecking tedious after a while - admittedly better than winning the Farmers convention league though
