"Crazy fact: Manchester united has never lost a home game when leading at half time since 1984."
Reason 534 we must sack ETH. Amrabat should have been a regular starter on this team.
Well done lads... well done.
Conference league here we come... or not.

Every home game the last 10 years I’m worried this would eventually get broken
Very good on the whole, one or two scary moments. Good half from the reds.

A normal United game you mean. Even from Fergie's time
Whats the point of Mctominay?
Decent half. But lacking quality in the final third and look vulnerable the few times Newcastle have really put us under pressure. Surprised how passive Newcastle have been.
If Licha is 100% then I would like to see him in the second half, take off Casemiro.

He's been quite useful in some moments
Enjoyable game to be fair - can’t say that often!
Casemiro looks more settled at CB, Amrabat looking decent, Mainoo pure class and Bruno playing at his best.
Newcastle obviously have a threat with their attacking players but we’ve contained them as well as you’d hope with a makeshift defence.
First lead in 2 months. Fack me.

I’d love Rasmus to be playing with control, tempo and passing like this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess the question is whether Bruno having more freedom is the reason we’re so much more fluent, more options on the ball, more space to run into…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah. I was thinking about this earlier in the match. How do we accommodate Bruno in this type of role but also have a proper CF?
352?
AMAD CM MAINOO CM NACHO
BRUNO
RASMUS
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you’ve the right wingers, you might not need a proper CF.

Yeh he's popped up with some goals and moments, imo should be a decent squad player moving forward at best however

Casemiro's had some iffy moments missing tackles but has redeemed himself with the clearances. I still don't feel comfortable with him at CB.

Definitely. He has a use, not as a starter.
That Newcastle "pen" all started with Amrabat juggling with the ball in CM. We got away with it.
Just tuning in for the second half - looking at the half time highlights looked like a pen, got lucky!

Yeah. So disappointed he's turned out to be a dud, nothing like the player we saw at the WC. Maybe just got found out at this level.
Damn, I agree with Rooney… it’s a Pen
