90 points in a 34 game league season.
Extrapolated to a 38 game season it's over 100 points.
All while undefeated.

If he wins both cups as well it could be argued as the best season by a flub anywhere ever.

51 games and counting

Yep I agree, and I'm looking forward to watching both of those games, against Atlanta another surprise team this season in the Europa Cup,and Kaiserslauten in the Deutche Pokal cup ,again a big surprise !

Manager of the season comfortably.

If they do the true unbeaten season that'll be something else altogether. Has that actually happened before in any top flight including continental cups?

The fact it's potentially going to be done by an unfancied team is truly remarkable.

You have to consider the size of Leverkusen also, it is not very big at all, just a medium sized town, and It wasn't even a town 40 or so years ago,it was a collection of villages put together by a chemist who worked for Bayer chemical company ,and the locals (workers)decided to name the area(at that time ) after him !

It was called Leverkusen 160 years ago, and Leverkusen proper was founded 90 years ago.
