How many trophies did both clubs win in that period?

Arsenal have a project, you won’t have the same manager 4 years from now.

Spurs will never be contenders.

Theirs this fallacy that they will get there eventually - why?

I don’t believe that at all, I believe every time you fall just short you give rivals the opportunity to improve and catch up on you.

They improved this year, and deserve credit for that, but so did Spurs, Chelsea, Villa - it could be much harder next season for them.

As for us, we’re at that point again where we either kick on or Ange won’t see out next season - 50/50 for me

Neither team won the league or CL

Arsenal won a couple of FA cups, Spurs made a CL final. Spurs finished higher than Arsenal on average.

Would I have taken the FA cups over what we had - of course, although that night in Amsterdam was something else, just incredible.

I don’t think either team can be too happy. Spurs have been severely hampered by an owner who thinks 4th place is a trophy, it’s infuriating

No we blew that by losing to West Ham & Villa at home.

Games we smashed them but lost.

And what would CL football bring for Spurs - the square root of faaack all. We’ve been there and done that.

We don’t try to win competitions - not really anyway.

If Ange didn’t throw the league cup game at Fulham I would have more sympathy - but he rotated us out in a season we didn’t have Europe - my only hope is he has learnt that Levy won’t bankroll him to a “major” trophy and that he therefore tries to deliver an FA cup, Leavue cup or Europa league

I don't get the criticism of Ange, he didn't deliberately set out to lose against us, Chelsea and Newcastle

More revenue doesn’t mean we spend it, in fact we just don’t, lowest wages to turnover in the league and biggest FFP headroom is what we have. Levy isn’t backing Ange to the tune of £250m this summer - so faaack CL, just means some miss out on a bonus and Danny has a little strop.

Of course he didn’t set out to lose - but how can he talk about a winning attitude when he sent the reserves out at Fulham in the league cup in a season where we ultimately played 41 games.

Ange has to prove he is not just here to pick up the CL qualifying bonus on offer and Benstead does actually want to win trophies - otherwise he is just another useless tozzer

I’ve already said you lot won a couple of FA cups and I would rather that. We did make a CL final, something Arsenal still look miles away from, getting beat by a side that ultimately finished third in the Bundesliga and scraping past a side that only just finished third in Portugal.

That’s the bottom line though isn’t it, Arsenal won a couple of FA cups whilst otherwise being mediocre and certainly not as good as Spurs.

What if Arsenal miss out on the league on goal difference next season but Spurs scrape the League cup - I’m not gonna be floating on here how we have outperformed Arsenal in the last 3 seasons - it’s silly.

95% fans are behind Ange and the heat is really going to be on Levy & the board.

We are not angry or against him.

But he completely misjudged the rivalry and tribalism between us and Arsenal around the Man City match and that annoyed a lot of fans.

Tbh that was shocking and weird for a guy that has been involved in football so long. Especially with his last job being manager of Celtic.

Hence his swift apology for "misjudging" things.

Completely avoidable tbh.
