Definitely fed up of these teams just being 3/4 defenders with 6 attackers in there in a formation that would get overran every game.

It's happening with the Fifpro world XI's now too.

So the wise Mr Crooks goes for a 3 at the back that none of the better teams play Fool!

Im not having Pickford either. recency bias going on there because he was rubbish in the first half of the season.

Also think there have been better CBs than Akanji and VVD this season. Solid seasons for both of them but not TOTS for me.

Just curious, but who would you have instead? Branthwaite has been great but I don't think he's been more consistent or better than both over the course of the season

It is. Haaland hasn't played as many games either. Solanke has played all 38.

Yeah it’s the players who have performed best to form a ‘best 11’.

Haaland has more goals, more assists and did it in less games to become the leagues top scorer. I doubt there’s ever been a best 11, by anyone apart from yours, that doesn’t put in the leagues top scorer and that’s because it would be weird.
