Stanmore station and get the tube is what I tend to do if coming down the a1.
I would park at either West Harrow or North Harrow, put in the following post code HA1 4ND. It being a Sunday it will take you to a quiet residential street with no parking restrictions. Three or four stops from Wembley.
Metropolitan Line - West Harrow, Harrow on the Hill, Northwick Park, Preston Road, Wembley Park
Thanks matey. Will have a look

But which jonathon will answer?
all tube services look ok, you're looking for stations along the Metropolitan Line or Jubilee Line, both stop at Wembley Park.
Easiest for you from A1will be Stanmore and they have really big car park right next to station its about 10 min drive from your turn off from bottom of A1.
I’m driving & heading to Northwood. Car park next to tube & great for getting to Wembley (& away after). Used to live in Watford/northwood area …. It’s decent access.

Wetherby you can go to where Jonty tells you to go, it will take you ages to get to Wembley.
or you can go to Stanmore and park in a car park and catch the jubilee line in or you can go to where I told you to go I used to work at Brent Council overlooking the ground, my cousin lives in Pinner View which is the Harrow post code I gave you. Go down any of the county roads down there they are residential streets and close to West Harrow station and are free parking all day. Easy access. You might even be able to park free right next to the station.
Stanmore car park will cost you £6 for the day.
They are all by the by. You'll get there and you've got lots of choices.
Jonty - thank you. I’ll drop you an email.
Yeah think I’ll drive to Stanmore as looks easiest for me. I know North London fairly well as brother in law lives near Highgate and driven it many times, but want an easy park and ride to stadium.

Not selling you on West Harrow then?
Don't forget ULEZ by the way.

I told him to go to Stanmore.....
Agree guys - Stanmore definitely easier if you are heading from Leeds
Personally I would ignore any advice above and go to Stanmore.
Would the advice be the same if I was coming in via the M1? I was thinking either Watford or Croxley Green.

Croxley Green advice I meant. Mind you it does mean older diesel cars would miss the ULEZ charge.
Watford is terrible advice, parking is awful close to the metropolitan line station and would mean a potentially longer delay for a tube.
Stanmore is much better.
