I thought it was pretty obviously a bit of both today You kept your shape brilliantly but we weren’t even getting the simple balls right in the first half, even with us playing a bit into your hands with the set up too.

All about goals though and we gifted you one, it looked like you gifted one back to us too but not seen it back and then the one full move of proper quality that deserved to win the game was your second goal

Maybe it was because it was straight after the game but on BBC tv when asked if United deserved to win he wasn’t having it

Everyone knows city are on another level to United these days, but I thought he was outmanoeuvred today by ETH, doesn’t happen very often, that’s why I thought he could have been a bit less dismissive

I think it was more your players kept their discipline throughout today, there wasn’t anything in your set up that was unexpected. I get why he didn’t but the right answer for was having more width from the start. Pep got his game plan wrong and players underperformed too though, like I said in the OP thankfully that’s rare nowadays.

The titles won’t be “stripped”. It will be impossible to conclude that City wouldn’t have won those titles either way. The punishment, if City are found guilty, will be going forward, not back.

But well done you on raising that particular subject on a day when your club just won a trophy. You’ve just made United’s win all about City by bringing that up again

The other two g00ns - Paul and Boris have gone AWOL !

Really didn’t think we’d have a chance today but when I saw the line ups it gave me a bit of hope. We really are a different side with a fit Martinez and Varane in defence and everyone turned up today which I haven’t seen in far too long. It does make you wonder how different our season would have been had Martinez been fit.

City for whatever reason just didn’t turn up and Haaland again has had a pretty forgettable final for you guys. Doku added more directness which you were clearly lacking but AwB with the help of Amrabat did very well to keep him at bay for most of it.

Mainoo really does looks a special talent, he’s just so composed especially for a cup final against quality opposition. Even Hojlund did well running his socks off and holding up play when he came on.

Loved it when Walker and Martinez had their little scuffle, we’ve missed him so much.
