Also, I know we've not been good enough this season but football is an emotional game and I'd like Bald to get another chance next season because of those scenes on Saturday. I know proper people won't be making a judgement based on that but, what the heck!

This club draws you back in. I was pretty much Erik out but now I'm reconsidering. I know it's illogical and probably wrong but I'll remember this season quite fondly just because of days like Saturday.

Do you remember beating Bournemouth to get top 4 isn't quite the same as Do you remember beating City to win the Cup!

Also liked the Wright/Malacia bit!😂

I know what you mean. It’s different to the other cup wins we’ve had post-Fergie because it was City. We were favourites to win all the others that we did win.

I think we would be regardless of any signings. It’s been a bit of a perfect storm of shiiiiiiit. Tends to be the case when our seasons go badly, difference is that this season the manager has been able to ride it out until the end of the season and we’ve won a trophy.

Season seems more like LVG’s last one than Mourinho and Ole’s. We had ridiculous injuries that season and won a trophy as well, but I don’t think the manager lost the players in either season like Mourinho and Ole did.

Ole lost the team because of Ronaldo. Half the reason Ten Hag has it still is because he got rid of him. I'll give it to ten Hag for being a very willful human being but Ole did a lot more for me.

It was pretty touching wasn't it? For all the talk of Top 4 etc these are the proper moments I'll remember when my time is up. The first final I properly remember was 1985 v Everton and I'd imagine a young kid watching that yesterday will remember it as much as I remember 1985.
