Fixture list coming out next Wednesday.
It looks like, we'll have a lot of bedding in new players to do, for the first month or so of the new season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought Evatt had a list of targets ready to go? That was part of the problem in the January window, Evatt didn't wont to sign any new players, relying on what we had. In the end he was forced into signing new players because of injuries. We had to pick up what was left on the shelf when when other teams had signed new players early to get them over the line
All three teams that went up signed new players early in the window and we did sod all until forced too. A mistake that lead to us being where we are now.
I just hope that he can sign the players on his wish list but I wouldn't put money on it.

I quite like this. Got promoted in a green away kit in 96/97. Much better than that black one last season.
I think I've still got the old green away shirt. I did like that one.
Have I lost weight, will it still fit me? I'll check later when it's cooler and let you know.
We have a new goalkeeper in the squad.

I'm a bit confused by the he might have broken his leg comment after his last game for Cheltenham but Bolton are confident it's not a serious one.
He was free, wasn't he?
So just another wage! We need, to sell or release a few. to make some room, and release some first team slots
Not much, going on with the B team besides a couple of friendlies.
I would have expected a big overhaul to come out of Sharon's review. Unless we get some sort of organised league, for them to play on a regular basis in. I can't hear or see much change to last season.
Not only do we need to top up the revenue stream. A decent path to a full recovery and fitness of our injured 1st team players wouldn't go amiss. Then again with IE's reputation of playing players with a knock!!
Enjoy your weekend, relax have a BBQ and bask in the heatwave.
Yes Pasty, if the weather is fine today we will have a BBQ with the family, the final meeting before we set off for Spain on Tuesday. If not we have a plan B unlike someone I could mention.
Good news on signing the keeper I just hope that he can start training straight away. The news that he may have broken his leg is a bit duanting. Surely a scan would have been appropriate before signing him. A broken leg takes time to heal.
Now we need to sign the midfield players with steel both in their phisique, and in their mentality. Then another good quality striker would be nice.
We need to plant, a mysterious player sighting rumour at the TS or Middlebrook.
Stir things up a bit, you never know it may prompt the club to announce another signing.
Barrow and Fleetwood in our BSM Trophy group with the U21 team who will no doubt get a thrashing to be announced later.
This season, don't we need to concentrate on the league. The cups have done us no favours when it comes to getting out of league 1.
Use our B and youth team players in the cups.
If we had gone up we wouldn't have to play this comp or play the first 2 rounds of the cup. It's not too bad early season. I game a month it's when it gets to November and beyond when the fa cup starts it becomes difficult with fixture congestion. I don't see any different this season. Should get to the knockout phase, will get international call ups and postponements and January onwards will be another race to get games in before the end of the season.
The extra games don't help the wear and tear on pitches either. It's no wonder, they complain of fatigue and can't last 90mins, when the pitches get heavy.
Add in, playing with little niggles and you are asking for trouble.

Assistant manager at Wigan. Jumped ship and is joint assistant manager. How does that work?
Who had Stephen Crainey their bingo card?
He'll be the different character that the current staff don't have maybe.
Walked past Aaron Morley in Manchester earlier this evening. One of those where do I recognise him from moments.
I wouldn't normally.
But
I've flicked over here and there, during the group games, to see how our national team were flying the flag.
Talk about a bore and boo feast!!

All the excitement of the fixtures coming out in just over a couple of hours.
Don't get too giddy yet will you!
We still don't have a clue, who and how we'll be playing next season.
Fixtures are out.
