The only way to not get frustrated is to tune out till late July. It's going to be hard but my sanity should be worth more.

Seems excessive to play 40 games away at Portsmouth but as it's down my neck of the woods I might get to a couple.
From the Athletic
Marathe was pressed on the future of Archie Gray, Leeds’ immensely gifted 18-year-old midfielder who is arguably worth more financially than any other player at Elland Road.
Gray is headed for big things and Leeds signed him to an improved contract, running to 2028, recently. It does not include a release clause. There is probably no departure this summer to frustrate the club’s fanbase more.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were among the teams who made overtures to Gray before he agreed his first professional deal in 2023.
Marathe was asked if Gray would be off-limits in the market. “It’s a little too early to answer specific questions,” he said. “I can’t talk on specific players right now.
“If I can paint the big picture, there are certain things we need to do and we’ll make sure we’re fully compliant with PnS. There are certain trade-offs we have to make. We have to get to the drawing board to work out which moves we have to make.
“Obviously, Archie’s a tremendous player, but every season brings change. I can’t yet comment but we’ll see what happens.”
Marathe admitted, however, that fan sentiment could play a role in decisions taken over the next few months.
“You’re thinking about the impact on and off the pitch,” he said. “I just ask that supporters trust that we have a plan and a process. Our commitment is to be among the best in the Championship.”

Archie Gray will represent 100% pure profit for PSR. Looks like your chairman is open to offers judging by his comments
“ Our commitment is to be among the best in the Championship.”
We’re not WBA.
Surely the commitment should be to get promoted.
"Paraag Marathe's grandson designs our new strip."
Hopefully he does a better job than Mrs Ridsdale's badge!..

There is no player in the world that any club wouldn't listen to if the right offer comes in!..
True, especially true when you are up to your eyes in debt. (again).
No comparison this time around - Early 2000s, fire side sales and path to administration, this time the debt is serviceable and will be managed accordingly, even if large.

How is it serviceable, we owe £190 m on players we are not selling and their value is dwindling.
The sale of Cry, Wilf and one or two others goes along way for a start.
Can anyone name more than 3-4 of the 34 clubs in the championship and bottom half of the Premier League that are NOT losing money every year, that are not under P&S pressures, that can keep all their best players every year AND are spending more whenever needed to ensure they meet the demands of their fans to win every game ?
No.
Didn’t think so.

Can anyone name a club, who buys players for massive money, but puts contracts in that mean we cant sell them after relegation.

That's another conversation but the debt can be managed albeit we lose our best players.

Agree. But that’s not the issue now is it. That’s the hand we got. Issue is what we do now.
But many on here seem to be expecting us to not sell, but buy everyone they can think of….. and 49ers can put whatever they’ve collected from investors in to pay for it.
It just don’t work that way.
This is the Jonty we know and love.
You forgot to add a points deduction because we are Leeds.
Five stars.

Where have you seen this? Weren’t we after him when Bielsa was here? Is it likely do you think?
We think we’re getting Adam’s, Smodics etc, end up with last minute scramble of loans.
Shame Rodonwont be here next season, but that’s what you get with loaning and improving other clubs players, meanwhile our players out loan are dropping in value like a stone and their massive fees cripple us for years.
