I'm all for talented players being brought in, but surely we need a superstar attacker in the squad?

Sesko looks good, but I imagine it'll take a year or two to really see him at his best.

He's not the best finisher

Will be jealous if you get him, looks like a striker made for the PL.

He’ll be Rashford’s understudy

The only striker I would pay more than £80M for is Isak and Newcastle won't let him go for less than £120M and that's not worth it due to his injury record, all the others are a big risk

I liked what I initially saw in the Euros, think it was the Euros, a couple of years ago before he moved to Leipzig. I’m obviously needed to see more but you could tell them that he fvcking loves it.

He’s got a great skill set, and if Arteta can refine him a bit you’ll have a player I reckon. Not many like him about.

Zirkzee reminds me of a taller version of Jesus from what I've seen

He looks good and at the prices being quoted, seems to be worth it.

Would be interested to see the salary deal he’s on.

You never really know how a player will adapt, of course, but seems a sensible move.

Indeed. You don’t spend £60m on Richarlison and play pauper.

Arsenal had it under Wenger's last few years. He spent a lot of money and everyone who wasn't paying attention insisted the Kroenkes weren't allowing him to spend. They were spending, just on crap. Similar to spurs now.

But now arsenal are doing better, people are trying to make out we're Abramoviching the league or something

There’s not a lot of myths around Spurs’ spending, there’s just some uneducated people who don’t understand that expenditure doesn’t stop with transfer fees.

Wages is a huge, huge part of a club’s ability to compete, and Spurs simply don’t have the wage bill to compete.

That said, none of this is a dig at Arsenal.

Arteta is doing very well with his budget and putting clubs like United and Chelsea to shame.
