Who will go furthest of the "dark-horses"?
-----
Austria I reckon. Fell for Turkey's dark horse status last time though, as you mention they completely failed.
Interesting group for Austria - feel maybe they and Poland will cancel each other out.
Looking forward to seeing what Khvicha Kvaratskhelia can do in the tournament, but can't see them progressing tbh. Not the worst of groups though.
Proud Scot, but can’t see us doing much TBH. Full squad we might have given it a go, but we don’t gave the depth to cover for the guys out injured. We’ve a massive issue at RB with both first and second choice ruled out. Dykes is another blow. Yes, he’s a pretty limited big lump, but he’s actually been very effective for us … rotating with our other big lump, Che Adams.

Seeing some online clamour for Simon Murray to replace Dykes
Id like to see Serbia do better than arch rivals Croatia for once and Knock them off their facking perch 🙂

Serbia always seem to be "one to watch" when they actually qualify for something - then are pretty poor. One World Cup they beat Germany in a group with Ghana and Australia and still finished bottom!!
Bring back the old Yugoslavia. They were the ultimate dark horses
Czechs - shiete at world cups but better record than more established nations at the Euros
Hungary for me. It certainly won’t be us (Scotland)
Hungary are going to be this years Turkey, they are the most overrated side going into this tournament.
Mark my words - round of 16 at the very best.

Scotland just need someone to be a goal scorer this summer - Mc Ginn maybe?
It’s honestly a group you lot can get through, people are wildly over estimating Hungary and Switzerland. The Swiss are marginally better than Norway and Hungary despite the shiete said about them are not as good

Pumped England and haven’t lost in two years I think?
Normally back the Danes due to my love of laudrup but apparently they’ve been poor and relying on older poor players and ignoring younger ones.
They’ve not took Matt O’Riley who despite being a bograt Bastirt has been excellent and was subject of a bid from atletico in January.
Preferring championship players to him due to the fact he plays in Scotland.
Apparently this is the first time Denmark have went to a tournament with no players playing in the danish superlig.
Still, ‘92 when they didn’t even qualify…
I’m flying out there but expecting nothing from Scotland.
Haven’t arranged flights back yet so could turn into a nightmare.
Had to go though, looks like we’ll never have a tournament in one country again, need to experience that craze and fanfare.
Was only 7 in ‘96 so didn’t head down the road. Isn’t realistic to travel to 7/8 countries to watch a tournament so last chance saloon I think.

Alaba is a huge miss. Still though, it’s virtually a home tournament for them, I think they will be dangerous - not a side I would want England bumping into as they could be a brutal opponent to get past

I’m expecting a point from the Swiss. Despite being really consistent (6 tournaments in a row) theyve been barking for a while now.
Don’t expect anything from Germany or Hungary.
Gutting that Germany have suddenly found form… and on home soil.
It’ll be a good session anyway

Didn’t realise he was out.
Not sure they as good as they have been in the last decade anyway.
I'm probably falling into the trap of saying Hungary as their recent form has been pretty good. Austria have a tough group, but with third possibly/probably going through, they could impress. Ukraine are in a much more favourable group, but Romania are possibly going under the radar a little. As are Georgia!
I'll predict it will be between Hungary and Ukraine who goes furthest from the dark horses.
Bang on with Denmark last time, even after the defeat in the opener. Austria maybe this time but overall no special dark horse semi finalist I don't think. Serbia perhaps a QF
