How much of a step up are we? And you need to look at it from Eze’s perspective.

We absolutely are a step up, but enough of one? Can’t help but think he’ll be eying an Arsenal or Liverpool type move.

But if we can get him, then I’d be all in. Cracking little player.

I don't think it will be Eze signing him

I'm surprised Arsenal aren't in for him... yet. That left side and a central striker are the two areas they could strengthen. Imagine him one side, Saka on the right and a proven striker down the middle. Jesus.

If we're going to sign him we need to do it before the bigger clubs get a sniff because honestly, he could play for any team in the league. He's that good. Didn't realise Sonny was that old. I'd said earlier I wasn't sure Eze was a good fit given he plays in Son's position but given his age, it's even more important to get Eze in.

We should think about life with him never mind after him. Great player but as we know he does have spells of poor form where he doesn't seem to contribute. At the moment though he is a first team player, we just need to bring in more quality in this area so we know we can bench him if the decision calls for it.

Nah I think they need a better proven striker than Jesus....

realised after I'd posted it that it looks like I'm a Jesus superfan.

Is he predominantly left-sided? I don't know too much about the kid to be honest.

Yeah he plays on the left wing mainly but could easily play in the 10 as well.

Absoloutely we should be thinking of life after Sonny.

I think next season we should be looking we have far greater concerns this season.

Should be our marquee signing next season.

I don't think Eze has ever really played left wing for Palace

I think Eze is better in the 10, what does that mean for Maddison?

I'd take either of Eze or Olise at Utd, both are great talents but the injury record would concern me.

Eze should be a no brainier signing for us but unfortunately can’t see us paying the price

Absolutely no chance levy will sign eze.

Waaayyyyy too expensive.

posted on 4/6/24

He's the same price as Richarlison was, no?

posted on 4/6/24

Anyway, as others have said Eze is not a Son replacement or a signing that would mean we don't need a better striker.. he replaces Lo Celso

If we do sign Eze, there will be a summer long saga to shave a few million off the price and make Levy feel like he's won. Either that or a club with real ambition will just agree a deal quickly and sign him early in the window.

Eze is like Madison for the bigger clubs. Decent player but inconsistent and injury prone.
