A key element of fascism is making it appear that the entire world is organized against your group when in fact you are in the most advantageous and powerful position in society. Manchester City are a textbook example of this phenomenon.

Trouble is City will have top lawyers and we already know what they’ve invested in the UK, so will have PMs on side too.

Future PM is a top lawyer so he keeps reminding us.Socialist too,so not only would he not want their dirty money he could also spend his spare time prosecuting them.

Get Diane Abbott to go over City's accounts
Should have never allowed this kind of ownership, starting with Abramovich and Chelsea. You knowingly let a snake into your house it's gonna bite you eventually.
Having said that, I don't expect the Prem to lose this one regardless of City having the best lawyers or whatever. City are squirming, lost their mojo and calm demeanour and probably haven't thought this through. Something has gotten through and they're rattled. Don't think they'd be taking this type of action if the political pressure was working and the government was helping them out. This seems like a lone ranger last throw of the dice last kicks of a dieing horse move.
If they win then massive blow to the Prem, but if City lose they may as well start packing their bags and start searching for a house somewhere near the Conference North or whatever it's called.
When are City supposed to answer to the 115 charges, and why is it taking so long?

Embarrassing stuff from city
This is an admission of guilt or feels like it
"They say they may also have to cut spending on youth development, womens football and community programs"
dont those things above not count towards ffp anyway?
City do have a small part of sympathy from me I their dealings. That is, it's not just the team they have spent money on, they have also helped to revitalise that part of East Manchester.
A fair punishment for me would be relegation, and a fine the equal of their first Etihad sponsorship deal
