Oh, you will have to click on the youtube link to enjoy all but the Ray Houghton goal - which you can watch in all its glory in the article.
'92 and '96 where the ones that always stick out for me being 10 and 14 at the time. The Brolin spin when he scored against us in '92 to knock us and Turnip head out. Denmark's SF and Final wins against the Netherlands and Germany where Schmeichel was brilliant (I had his rainbow coloured keeper top from the final).
In '96 the Suker chip over Schmeichel was lovely (Schmeichel got chipped way too often back then). England destroying the Netherlands in the group stages was probably the single greatest England performance in my lifetime. Psycho's celebration when he scored the pen against Spain and the Safegate missing in the SF. But without that we wouldn't have got this great advert.

Not a specific moment, but Rooney taking it by storm in 2004 was a great one... Real shame he got injured.
For me it's an easy one. Beating Belgium 3-1 in the QF in France in 2016. Deservedly so as well.
The fact the most of these moments pre date 2000 kind of tells a story. But tbf charisteas' winner in 2004 for Greece sticks out to me.

Probably my age. Everything seems better when you are a kid (and one pre-dates my existence).
Suker chip was quality.
I think 2004 passed me by a fair bit. Only final I haven't watched and was working a lot of the tournament.
I was living in the Algarve in 2004, so was a memorable one for me... went to see Portugal v England and Sweden v Holland
Luke Shaw’s goal in the final.
Spain 4-3 Yugoslavia, Euro 2000
Netherlands 2-3 Czech Republic, Euro 2004
Two fabulous games of football.

Another nod for the Netherlands game in 96. And Gazza's lovely goal against Scotland.
Running home from school to watch England v The Netherlands at Euro 88 expecting England to win comfortably only to see Marco van Basten destroy England.
And England destroying The Netherlands at Euro 96. Absolutely joyous. Particularly at the end when Kluivert's late consolation goal knocked out Scotland on goals scored.
Russia shocking the Netherlands, denying us a semi final between the two best teams in the competition. The Dutch actually looked better than Spain in the group stages.
Euro 2008 is still the best Euros tournament I reckon.

Archiving masterclass?
Saka missing that penalty.
Chefs kiss.
The 2-2 against Portugal in 2004 sticks in the mind. Owen's early goal, Rooney going off injured, Portugal's late equaliser, Campbell's BS disallowed goal, Rui Costa scoring a screamer in ET, Lampard's smart finish to bring us back to 2-2 then going out on penalties including Becks and the sandpit. Game had it all, despite it obviously being a disappointment.
I can watch Gaza’s goal against Scotland over and over - Colin Hendry eating turf, the celebration. The semi was good even though we lost - that Grey shirt is iconic. Psycho screaming against Spain and giving a very talented Dutch side an absolute hosing. 3 lions on a shirt, hmm, isn’t it
The Czechs vs Holland in 2004 - what a game
Spain in the 2012 final obliterating Italy
The best tournament though was 2000, even though England were waaank. France, Italy, Holland and Portugal all showed up with insanely talented sides and ended up playing each other in the semis

The tournament was decent, Spain were very entertaining - not sure what happened to them 2 years later, yes they won the World Cup but they were stunningly boring in doing it, 1-0 the whole way through the knockouts zzzzzzz
They replaced Aragones with Del Bosque.
It's interesting how much football sticks with you at different parts of your life. I've watched all the Euros but past '96 they just didn't really stick with me. I'm sure everyone's different but watching football as a kid meant so much more than as an adult. Maybe also because I've probably had a few watching over the past 20 odd years and forget more easily.
I vaguely remember the Netherlands starting Euro '08 on fire with Ruud, RvP, Robben and Sneijder up top. Then Arshavin did he strange celebration knocking them out.
It is also fair to say watching foreigners play football was special back then (especially pre-92).
