Man City’s statement will probably help every club other than Liverpool, United and Arsenal
Apart from liverpool, Arsenal and Utd fans, fans of every other club should be supporting City in their legal action. We will not let those cheats boss the rest of the league around just because they can't win any other way.
Think this might be a bit premature Thorney unless I’m missing some breaking news (quite possibly). Last I saw Corberan had been contacted (excellent news) and Van Nistelrooy was the other leading candidate.
I wouldn’t be disappointed with Cooper given the dire financial situation our clueless owners have landed us in, but not reading that’s him anywhere?
You” would not go far wrong with cooper, done a great job at our place, was sorry to see him go like most forest fans. seem to lose his way towards the end for some reason. Anyway good luck for the season apart from when you play us of course🤣
The last I heard was West Brom were offering Corberan mega bucks to stay and that he wanted away from The Hawthorns 🤷♂️
One thing I would say about Cooper is it would be a rather schizophrenic appointment by a board who have re-shaped the squad around Maresca and a vision for possession football. Not sure how the squad would react to basically throwing everything they’ve trained and worked on in the bin in turn for playing a bit like Sean Dyche
It also smacks of a financial decision. Corberan a compensation is reportedly a stumbling block. So the problem here yet again is the mess our owners have got us into that now means we may not be able to sign players we want, the managers we want and could well have to sell KDH for ffp reasons. Even then we may face TWO points deductions this season
So perhaps Top and Rudkin are now facing the inevitable consequences of their appalling mismanagement of our club and have come to the realisation that they are out of options. Money talks. They have none, their idealistic philosophy has to be replaced by pragmatism and even they are facing relegation and 2-3 seasons rebuild in the championship given the EFL breaches
If Man City is anything to got by 99, we should bring in Corboran, get King Power to sponsor the kit bags for £100m and argue in court for 20 years if anyone questions it.
Job done.
I wouldn’t hate Cooper tbh but it would be a very odd appointment from the board for all the reasons you’ve laid out. More likely Garcia would be the cheap approach if it was just money talking.
Wonder if Rudkin would have gone for Southgate??Think those two would just about deserve each other.

😂😂😂😂😂
For me once 98 I am complete agreement, if we go down the Garcia route then our club deserves everything it gets due to the ineptitude of Top & Rudkin.
Personally I don’t see this happening thank goodness, the Cooper links are there but the Forest association is too big to ignore, so that shouldn’t come to fruition.
I believe and hope that it could be a choice between Corberan or Rob Edwards and whichever club demands less as compensation.
Whichever of those it is, pay it now and get him in so he can start to set the groundwork for a fast start to claw back our minus points start!!!
We need a younger progressive manager/coach not a Moyes or even a Steve Bruce ffs what is the world coming to? Let’s go the whole hog and get Big Sam as DOF 😂
There is still a chance to give our club a fighting chance to beat Derbys lowest PL points total, get the right man in and let’s go out with all guns blazing!!!

Not excited by the OGS links today. Really didn’t have a plan or a system when he was at United other than give it to Rashford and hit on the break. Very little experience in the situation we are going to be in - no thanks
OGS no!
A number of the candidates look a reasonable shout.
What is the problem then - why is nobody in place yet? Rudders is wasting precious time, time we cannot afford to lose.
Get on with it!!
