They’re so f*cking corrupt, but then so are the football authorities, so who knows.

Just need somebody with a backbone to apply the rules,

Are you aware that the same team has won the PL the past 4 seasons and 6 out of the last 7? So one team.

Yet you are saying the PL is in danger of becoming a league that only 2 or 3 teams can win?

Is the PL propaganda machine that good that it has just completely broken people's brains? It appears so.

You've literally taken the most one team league (statistically) in Europe and said you hope it doesn't become like the Dutch league, where there have been 3 different winners in the past 3 seasons.

Is your brain broken??

Long thought that there could be a breakaway from FIFA by the rich blokes in the middle East. This sort of thing will potentially speed up the process. They must be thinking "why are we putting our money into this and being ruled by others?". Saudi was a bit of an experiment to see what sort of players they can entice from Europe.

This would be quite funny

Especially as City were the English club involved who took the high ground and said they didn't really approve.

You literally said that the PL is in danger of becoming a league that only 2 or 3 teams can win. Genuinely though, have you been brainwashed by the PL propaganda machine? I am finding it very difficult to understand how you can say things that are so wrong but be so unaware of it?

Fans are usually too wrapped up in their rivalries to see the bigger picture.

I remember when Arsenal fans wanted City to qualify for the CL instead of Spurs, I think back in 2010. Obviously they didn't want our hated rivals to succeed but Spurs qualifying for the CL that year was never gonna change the landscape of football beyond the following season, whereas it put hack City's project by a year

Eventually we've reached this point where City aren't just dominating the PL, they want to control it.

The way I understand it is and all the normal media outlets are reporting the same... I have no personal contact with city execs so can only go by what is reported to the general public.....They are saying..... City want to be able to pump in as much money as they want to via sponsorship and have no ceiling for this..... no other team other than City, Newcastle and probably ManUTd because of their commercial success world wide could to this currently (possibly Chelsea) so therefore it by default becomes a two/three team league.

As I see I can only go by what is reported..... if you know different why not post it on this thread that's what its here for instead of jumping the gun and insulting people you fool....

Nowhere near the end. Think the whole thing has been overblown by a considerable amount.

If city win this case, all that will happen is that they’ll replace regulations that are deemed as unlawful ones with lawful ones. That’s what anyone calling for an independent regulator wants anyway surely.

The fear is in what you said. City winning and 'City' replacing regulations that are deemed unhelpful to City with regulations that City want. City don't want to have to follow the two thirds rule, they want to follow their own rules

It's almost like they want to turn the PL into a 'Super League', and if they're not able to, they'll probably leave the league and join the ESL with Real

That would be great if it worked. An Independent regulator only works if they are truly independent and work for the greater good of all. We all know how that generally goes down with the track records of offcom, offgem and so on.

These entities always end up in the pockets of someone so don't really work in my experience. Only tough rigid laws do .,... and of course thats if they are actually enforced when broken.

The solution would be for Harry Kane to join city and end that nonsense. In fact he could be shipped from league to league to insure different winners

If you consider that a large part of City's 115 charges are in fact about undisclosed payments from different parties fed through their official sponsors then a success with this case APT would immediately impact on their 115 charges case as how can they be found guilty of an offence which is now judged as being an unlawful rule.

City have never supported the APT rules and why would they because in doing so, if they lost the 115 charge case, they would be condemning themselves.

Some will say these 2 cases are not related but a win here massively increases the likelihood of a win in the parent case.

City can’t replace regulations that are deemed unhelpful. They can only try and challenge regulations they believe may be unlawful.

Doesn’t matter if they don’t want to follow the two thirds rule, they’ve got no choice in that.

It would have absolutely no impact on the initial case, it’s a completely different allegation and nothing to do with the APT rules. Any journalist suggesting it is just wrong.
