Genuinely we didn't because we would all do a test at home before we'd meet up and have a pi33 up. Only if the test was negative would it be OK to go.

Whilst for many it resulted in tragic circumstances, my wife and I both worked through lockdown and both got to keep WFH days after, which means we only have to pay for childcare twice a week. It was previously costing us £1500 per month. It's now half that.

Looking forward to the EUROs and will be supporting Georgia

I heard they are making a movie about his life. Wasn't he a convicted felon, who'd served loads of time in prison, who also (during one of his crimes) put a gun to a pregnant woman's head?

Hardly someone who Hollywood should be making a movie about. Also BLM aren't what they seem. They don't care about black people in third world countries, for example.

I think a lot of people are looking back at that whole lock down/pandemic period and asking what it was all about and was it a massive over reaction.

No he didn't. There was two autopsies done after his death.

The first said "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression."

The second said "asphyxiation from sustained pressure."

Not that you actually need an autopsy. It was on video. Nobody is surviving a knee against your neck for nine minutes.

I know I’m gonna get shot down again for my views as is typical for this site. I’ve seen others post similar. Here we are 4 years after the whole sham and people still haven’t realised what the whole thing was about.

The fact that those who told us to stay home, distance, close businesses, don’t see your loved ones etc are still walking around free as day is one of the biggest injustices in our lives.

I was dubious of the whole thing when it was unfolding in the February but went through the motions of it for about 2 weeks after the initial illegal lockdown until I saw enough evidence for myself that the whole thing was bogus.

Now I’m nobody special. There’s other people that saw through it quicker than me but I thought, depending on how long we’re locked down for, the majority of people surely would smell a rat with what was going on after a month or 2, right? I got that wrong, didn’t I?

It’s too late to say what people should have done four years ago but at least I know for the most part, I didn’t comply. I could still work, I didn’t stay at home, God was good to me throughout the episode and Liverpool got to end the drought. Except us fans got robbed of a parade. At the very least, every Liverpool fan should have been up in arms at the government for that!

Have we got our lives back? No! We let the powers that be take them away four years ago and they’re still being allowed to take mile after mile from that initial inch. And people wonder why things have been so bad since. Don’t expect it to stop either
