One year contract apparently.
Vestergaard has signed until 2027.
Any news on retained list yet?
Vestergaard signing until 2027 is another absurd piece of business from Rudkin. Utterly ridiculous. He’ll be loaned out by next January - wont fit into another managers philosophy and isn’t up to PL standard at all.
Good news on Vardy though
Hmmm, 2 possibly questionable decisions there.
Hope that Vardy can cut it in the Premier League again, I guess in one sense with no money it’s better the devil you know.
Vestergaard, I’m interested to see how he does now Enzo has resurrected his career but he could be a totally different player again in the Premier League and potentially playing a different system under a new Manager, 3 years as well?
The Vardy decision is spot on as we would not be able to purchase a striker who would give us what he does, also with taking a wage cut to stay he is doing what he can to stay and help.
As for Vestergard, squad player at PL level but may start the season if the new manager hasn’t had time to get his preferred defence in place.
But a huge thanks goes to Marc, Kelechi & Dennis for what they have given us (good, bad & indifferent)…. They will all have their own place in our chequered history.
